摘要: The invention relates to a process for the recovery of low molecular weight C.sub.2+ hydrocarbons, in particular ethylene and ethane from a cracking gas, in particular from a fluid catalytic cracking waste gas. In accordance with the invention the light C.sub.2+ hydrocarbons are scrubbed out of the cracking gas by absorption, using an organic, preferably paraffinic, physically acting scrubbing agent, the scrubbing agent having a molecular weight of between 50 and 75 g/mol, preferably between 60 and 75 g/mol. Particularly suitable as scrubbing agents are pentane, isopentane or mixtures thereof. Prior to the generation of the loaded scrubbing agent, co-extracted methane is advantageously stripped off.

摘要: For recovery of low-boiling hydrocarbons by scrubbing, the crude gas mixture which contains low-boiling and high-boiling hydrocarbons, is treated with a scrubbing agent, by which the high-boiling components are scrubbed-out of the gas mixture. The loaded scrubbing agent, with the addition of liquid medium miscible with the scrubbing agent and which reduces the solubility for the scrubbed-out hydrocarbons, is regenerated and the completely regenerated scrubbing agent is recycled to the scrubbing. The regeneration is preferably divided into the following individual steps:(a) stripping of the loaded scrubbing agent, optionally with addition of medium,(b) addition of the liquid medium to partially regenerate scrubbing agent, decanting of the split phases,(c) stripping of the resultant decanted scrubbing agent/medium mixture, and(d) rectifying the scrubbing agent/medium mixture to separate the scrubbing agent.

摘要: In a process proposed for purification of a gas stream at elevated pressure by nitrogen scrubbing, the gas stream to be purified and the nitrogen scrubbing stream are initially cooled to low temperatures. The gas stream is then scrubbed with liquid nitrogen and the purified gas stream is mixed with cooled, high-pressure nitrogen to form a mixture in which nitrogen accumulates partly as a liquid phase. The mixture thus formed is then heated and the liquid nitrogen contained therein is evaporated. Prior to scrubbing, either the nitrogen scrubbing stream itself or a partial stream of the nitrogen scrubbing stream or another process stream under a pressure lower than the working pressure of the nitrogen scrubbing step is at least partly condensed and then pumped to a higher pressure. The condensation of this low-pressure stream provides a reduction in the temperature difference at the cold end of the heat exchangers upstream of the scrubbing step resulting in the reduction of the energy requirements of the process.

摘要: In the fractionation of a gaseous mixture under pressure containing methane, ethane, propane, inert gases, higher hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide, as well as carbon dioxide, e.g., a natural gas, the higher hydrocarbons are obtained by rectification as bottoms product, whereas methane, ethane, propane, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide comprise the head product. The rectification is conducted in three stages, wherein the separated head product of the second stage forms at least in part the reflux of the first stage. By means of this process, a C.sub.4+ hydrocarbon condensate free of sour gases, as well as a C.sub.3- head fraction of high purity are obtained.

摘要: A system and a method for structuring technical information in establishing a knowledge base and trouble shooting in technical equipment. An intelligent, electronical document is created in the quickiest and most efficient way for guidance training and troubleshooting of complex technical equipment. The required concepts are defined which are capable of describing states in a knowledge base, node types are defined indicating what type of information or instruction a node is to contain, views are read containing pictures or graphic descriptions of the equipment, nodes are inserted into the views to provide access points to various parts of the equipment, at least one of the nodes being a rule node containing at least one rule. The rule contains a condition part and a conclusion part, the condition part consisting of conditions on the equipment and the conclusion part containing measures to be taken if the conditions are fulfilled. The method and system are primarily used by developers and troubleshooters. The developers contribute with knowledge about technical equipment and with practical knowledge, such as rules of thumb. The troubleshooters can use the system without specific previous knowledge to perform troubleshooting, being systematically guided by the system to the source of failure.

摘要: For regeneration of a loaded scrubbing agent, e.g. a polyethylene glycol ether containing H.sub.2 O and sour gases, the regeneration is conducted in a regeneration column equipped with a bottom heater and an overhead condenser, by stripping with vapor, e.g. stream provided by the heater vaporizing an aqueous condensate. After condensation of the vapor in the condenser, the stripped components are removed and the remaining condensate is recycled to the bottom part of regeneration column to avoid mixing the aqueous condensate with the loaded solvent. The condensate is fed directly into the bottom of the column or is fed into the line between the column and the bottom heater.

摘要: A method of preheating coal for coking comprises bringing a hot operating gas into direct contact with the coal to preheat the coal. Both the coal and the operating gas are passed into a separator and the separator is operated so as to effect the separation of the coarse preheated coal for delivery to the coke oven from the operating gases and coal dust. The operating gases and coal dust are then passed into a deduster to remove the coal dust from the operating gases. A portion of the removed dust is continuously directed into an accumulator. The dust is either supplied from the deduster or the accumulator to a combustion furnace where it is burned to generate at least a portion of the operating gas. The amount of coal dust which is accumulated in the accumulator is checked regularly and the separator is operated so as to produce sufficient dust to maintain a desired operating level in the accumulator so that dust will always be available in a sufficient quantity to operate the combustion chamber for supplying the operating gases.

摘要: This invention relates to a mask blank for use in EUV lithography and a method for its production. The mask blank comprises a substrate with a front side and a rear side whereby a coating is applied to the front side for use as a mask in EUV lithography and the rear side of the substrate comprises an electrically conductive coating. The electrically conductive coating is particularly abrasion resistant and strongly adhesive according to DIN 58196-5 (German Industry Standard), DIN 58196-4 and DIN 58196-6 and characterised by a minimum electrical conductivity. The electrically conductive coating is applied by means of ion-beam-assisted sputtering.Since the electrically conductive coating on the rear side is so abrasion resistant and strongly adhesive, the mask blank may be gripped, held and handled by means of an electrostatic holding device (chuck) without any troublesome abrasion occurring.
