    摘要: A process for the preparation of tertiary alkylamines having a total of up to 9 carbon atoms by reacting a dialkylamine with a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alcohol in the presence of a hydrogenation/dehydrogenation catalyst which contains essentially only copper as the hydrogenating/dehydrogenating catalytic metal is proposed, wherein the reactants(a) are present in the liquid phase,(b) contain alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal oxides and/or hydroxides and(c) are reacted in a molar ratio of dimethylamine to alcohol of from 1:10 to 10:1 and(d) in the presence of the water formed during the reaction.

    摘要: Aminomono- or di-[(poly-n-butoxy)-n-butylamino]-(poly-n-butoxy)-n-butylamines of the general formula IH.sub.2 N--[(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.x --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --NH].sub.y --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.x --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --NH.sub.2 (I)where x is from 1 to 150 and y is 1 or 2, are prepared by a process in which a hydroxy-(poly-n-butoxy)-butanol of the formula IIHO--(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.x --(CH.sub.2).sub.4 --OH (II)where x is from 1 to 150, is reacted with from 1.01 to 300 mole equivalents of ammonia per hydroxyl group in the presence of a hydrogenation/dehydrogenation catalyst and hydrogen at from 150.degree. to 300.degree. C. and under from 20 to 400 bar.

    摘要: Polyoxyalkylene glycols are prepared by a process in which tetrahydrofuran is polymerized with a total of not more than 95 mol %, based on the amount of tetrahydrofuran used, of one or more comonomers from the group consisting of the cyclic ethers and acetals in the absence of water and in the presence of a monohydric alcohol or of a monocarboxylic acid with the aid of an anhydrous heteropoly acid catalyst, and the polyoxyalkylene glycol is liberated from the resulting polyoxyalkylene glycol monoethers or polyoxyalkylene glycol monoesters by cleavage of the monoether or monoester bond.
