摘要:
A reinforced therapeutic tube which is excellent in kink resistance, pressure resistance and flexibility. The tube is made of an elastomeric material with a reinforcing material spirally embedded into the tube wall, and at least one of the tubular parts where no spiral reinforcing material exists. The tip end of the reinforcing material which is wound in spiral shape is bent parallel to the inside surface of the tube and inward of the tube for at least one or more pitches of the spiral, and at least the tip of the reinforcing material bent is buried into the inside wall of the tube.

There is provided an Al-based alloy sputtering target, which can provide an enhanced deposition rate (or sputtering rate) when the sputtering target is used, and which can preferably prevent the occurrence of splashes. The Al-based alloy sputtering target of the present invention includes Ta and may preferably include an Al—Ta-based intermetallic compound containing Al and Ta, which compound has a mean particle diameter of from 0.005 μm to 1.0 μm and a mean interparticle distance of from 0.01 μm to 10.0 μm.

A portable belt sander having a drive pulley capable of being produced at a limited period. The sander includes a main body accommodating therein a motor, a drive shaft rotationally driven by the motor, a drive pulley coupled to the drive shaft, a driven shaft, and an endless polishing belt mounted between the drive pulley and the driven pulley. The drive pulley includes a base section coupling the drive shaft and made from a rigid material, and an outer low hardness section made from an elastomer material and disposed over an outer peripheral surface of the base section and integrally therewith by injection molding. Mating surfaces between the base section and the outer section are irregularly formed.

The present invention provides a technique capable of suppressing generation of splash even at high-speed deposition by an Al-based alloy sputtering target containing Ni and a rare earth element, wherein when crystallographic orientations , , , and in a normal direction of each sputtering surface at a surface part of the Al-based alloy sputtering target, a ¼×t (t: thickness of the Al-based alloy sputtering target) part thereof and a ½×t part thereof are observed by an electron backscatter diffraction pattern method, the Al-based alloy sputtering target satisfies the requirement (1) that, when a total of area fractions of the ±15°, ±15° and ±15° is defined as R (as for Rat each part, the R at the surface part is defined as Ra, the R at the ¼×t part is defined as Rb, and the R at the ½×t part is defined as Rc), R is 0.35 or more and 0.80 or less; and the requirement (2) that each of the Ra, the Rb and the Rc falls in the range of ±20% of an average R value [Rave=(Ra+Rb+Rc)/3].

A Zn—Al alloy excellent in static deformability as well as dynamic deformability and applicable to large-sized structures, and a method for production thereof. The alloy contains 30-99% Zn, with the remainder being Al and inevitable impurities, and has a metallographic structure in which the α phase or α′ phase having an average grain size no larger than 5 μm contains the β phase finely dispersed therein, the Al inclusions have a maximum equivalent circle diameter no larger than 50 μm and are free of pores no smaller than 0.5 mm in terms of equivalent circle diameter, and the macrosegregation of Al is less than 3.0% and the microsegregation of Al is less than 2.0%. (% means mass %.)

Disclosed herein is a device (such as guidewire inserter) for easily and certainly inserting a medical long item having a curved tip into a tube such as catheter and sheath. The guidewire inserter is a tubular member having therein a bore for passage of a guidewire. The tubular member has a slit cutting across the wall thereof over the total length thereof. The tubular member has at the proximal end thereof an aperture, which results from the slit expanding toward the proximal end. The tubular member has at the proximal end of the aperture an open part and a connecting part adjacent thereto for the holder tube. There are a pair of wing-like protruded pieces projecting in the mutually opposite directions at both sides of the open part. The distal end of the tubular member has on its outer surface a pair of protruded rims, which project in the mutually opposite directions with respect to the central axis of the tubular member. When the distal end of the tubular member is connected by insertion into the bore at the proximal end of the tube, such as sheath, the protruded rims come into contact with the inside of the hub.
