    摘要: A motor-driven fuel pump including a brushless motor; a motor housing for enclosing the brushless motor; and a pump section adapted to be driven by the brushless motor for sucking a fuel and pumping the same into the motor housing. The brushless motor includes a stator fixed to an inner circumference of the motor housing; a rotor assembly adapted to be rotated by supplying current to the stator, which rotor assembly includes a motor shaft, a rotor mounted to the motor shaft a rotor cover mounted to one end of the rotor magnet on the side of the pump section, a timing rotor mounted to the other end of the rotor magnet, and a sensor magnet mounted to an end of the timing rotor on the side opposite to the rotor magnet; an end cover mounted at an inlet end of the brushless motor; a motor shaft bearing mounted in the end cover for rotatably supporting the motor shaft; and a timing rotor bearing interposed between an outer circumference of the timing rotor and the inner circumference of the motor housing for rotatably supporting the timing rotor.

    摘要: A fuel pump including a housing; a motor section provided in the housing which motor section includes an armature and a magnet opposed to the armature with a substantially annular space defined therebetween as a fuel passage, which armature includes a core formed by stacking a plurality of plates and a coil wound around the core; a pump section fixed to a lower end of the housing and connected to the motor section to be driven thereby; a fuel inlet formed in the pump section for sucking a fuel by driving the motor section; a fuel outlet formed at an upper end of the fuel pump for discharging the fuel fed from the fuel inlet through the fuel passage; and a first resin portion impregnated in the core and the coil for suppressing vibration of the armature. The fuel pump having the above construction preferably further includes a second resin portion coated on a surface of at least the first resin portion, which second resin portion has a resistance against the fuel and no influence upon the fuel.

    摘要: A forging method for making a forged product from an elongate steel bar material. The forging comprises a heating step in which the elongate bar material is heated, a cutting step in which the heated bar material is cut into billet materials each having a predetermined length, and a forging step in which the billet materials are successively forged. In this forging method, when an abnormality arises in the forging step, the cutting in the cutting step is interrupted and the bar material in the heating step is maintained in the heating step without being transferred toward the cutting step. Additionally, unless the abnormality is normalized within a predetermined limit time, the cutting in the cutting step is restarted and the billet materials formed after the restarting of the cutting are transferred to a storing apparatus which is outside of a normal forging line.

    摘要: Three embodiments of a regenerative pump: the first embodiment is composed of a body and casing separated by an intermediate ring-like spacer having a central annular area the wall of which forms the outer peripheral boundary of a radially defined chamber through which move the vanes of an impeller rotatably mounted in the center of the spacer. Inlet and outlet ports are placed in fluid communication with each other by virtue of the chamber as the impeller rotates. Concentric and overlapping grooves formed on the upper surface of the body and the lower surface of the case have a particular geometry the arrangement of which leads to a substantial reduction in noise contributed by fluid flowing in the region of the outlet port. In a second embodiment of the invention, the downstream portion of each of the grooves extends along a gentle curved line which terminates substantially without deflection in the outlet hole. The third embodiment comprises a multi-stage pump in which the intermediate spacer is formed with an inclined surface adopted to form a smooth fluid connection with the vanes of the second or upper impeller. At the same time, at the position corresponding to the location of the communication hole of the second spacer, is formed with an inclined surface which is substantially parallel to inclined surface formed on the intermediate spacer.
