The volume reducing agent is in a liquid state, has a Ferdor solubility parameter close to that of the polystyrene to be processed in the mixed state and transfers the resulting materials having reduced volume into gel-type products to be floated and easily separated to yield a high quality output of recycled expanded polystyrene (FPS).

A method for packaging an MEMS device or an NEMS device in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: forming a sacrificial layer; forming a thin film having columnar nano pores formed therein by depositing one of a metallic material, an oxide, a nitride and a fluoride on the sacrificial layer; forming a support layer on the thin film and patterning the support layer; removing the sacrificial layer through use of the nano pores of the thin film parts of which are exposed by patterning the support layer; and forming a shielding layer on the thin film and the support layer.

The present invention relates to a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) and, more particularly, to an electrostatic actuator, and a driving method thereof and an application device thereof. The electrostatic actuator in accordance with the present invention comprises a fixed electrode, an electric charge charging unit electrically insulated from the fixed electrode, and a moving electrode spaced apart from the fixed electrode and the electric charge charging unit. In accordance with the present invention, the electrostatic actuator with a very low driving voltage and an arbitrarily controllable driving voltage when compared with a conventional electrostatic actuator is provided. In addition, the electrostatic actuator having durability against external noise and enabling a reliable consecutive operation is provided. Further, in accordance with the present invention, non-volatile mechanical memory, a logic circuit and a switch employing the electrostatic actuator are provided.

The controller continuously generates a first phase delay quantity until a horizontal line width of a digital image signal is equal to a desired width, stores a first total phase delay quantity corresponding to how many times the first phase delay quantity was generated, continuously generates a second phase delay quantity until the current horizontal line width is greater than the desired width, stores a second total phase delay quantity corresponding to how many times the second phase delay quantity was generated, and controls the phase delay of the sampling clock in response to an optimum phase delay quantity which is an average of the first and second phase delay quantities.
