A nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary cell comprising a positive electrode (1), a negative electrode (2) and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt is characterized by that the nonaqueous electrolyte contains a room temperature molten salt as a main component, a material wherein a working potential of the negative electrode (2) is nobler by above 1V than a potential of a metallic lithium is used for a negative active material of the negative electrode. This nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary cell has excellent safety and cell performance.

An object of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which restrains swelling of the battery during high-temperature storage and is excellent in battery performance after storage. According to the present invention, in the rolling of an H-shaped steel wherein a roughly shaped billet subjected to a breakdown rolling and having a web and flanges is formed into a shape steel having H-shaped cross section by passing it through an array of rolling facilities for a shape steel constituted by combining a universal rough rolling mill with a universal finish rolling mill, a thickness of each flange at four locations, i.e. right and left upper and lower locations, of the roughly shaped billet are measured by an instrument for measuring hot dimensions, which is arranged in the vicinity of the rough universal rolling mill, and then, based on the results of the measurement, there are attained an axial deviation of upper and lower horizontal rollers relative to each other, a deviation of apertures of left and right vertical rollers with respect to each other, and a deviation of the center position of a clearance between the upper and lower horizontal rollers with respect to the central position of the vertical roller barrels.

More specifically, the ferritic stainless steel sheet contains 10 % to 25 % by mass of Cr and has a yield stress in the range of 300 to 450 MPa and the product of the yield stress and the uniform elongation properties of at least 5200 (MPa·%). Preferably, the ferritic stainless steel sheet for use in raw material pipes for forming bellows pipes has an average crystal grain size D of 35 μm or less or a surface roughness of 0.40 μm or less as determined by Ra.

A process and an equipment for micro-pattern forming on the surface of a rolling roll, and a metallic thin sheet and preparation thereof by transferring a micro-pattern on the surface by use of the roll are provided. Such a rolling roll can be attained by a method wherein resin film mixed with optical absorbing agent is formed on the surface, a Q switch YAG laser having an output of 5 to 100W is applied to make a marking on this resin film, a part of the coated film is removed in strict accordance with the pattern, then an etching process is applied to the roll surface. The metallic thin sheet skin pass rolled by this roll is used as a car panel and is superior in pressworkability and sharpness of reflections.

A method of producing H-beams is carried out by rolling a rough rolled steel billet having a web and flanges by a universal finishing mill having a pair of vertical rolls embracing the flanges of the billet on both sides and a pair of horizontal rolls having widths less than those in the rough rolling and embracing the web on upper and lower sides to reduce the web width and thicknesses of the flanges of the billet and to correct inclination of the flanges, thereby reducing and adjusting an inner web width of the H-beam. The billet is finish-rolled in a state such that the axes of the pair of vertical rolls are shifted onto the downstream side of the axes of the pair of horizontal rolls into an area including a zone where the web width and the thicknesses of the flanges are simultaneously reduced. In another aspect, the billet is rolled by the universal finishing mill whose pair of vertical rolls are positively driven.
