    摘要: To obtain a paste for electron sources which can enhance heat resistance of carbon nanotubes, which can suppress burn-out of the carbon nanotubes even during heating at a high temperature, and can exhibit a high electron emission performance, boron (B) is added to the paste formed of the carbon nanotubes and metal. Due to the addition of boron, the oxidation of the carbon nanotubes can be suppressed, and the degradation of the electron emission characteristics and the degradation of the uniformity of the emission of electrons during the heating process such as baking can be prevented.

    摘要: A display device of the present invention reduces the occurrence of cracks and breaking of plate-like control electrodes, enhances the operability of assembling and suppresses the reduction of a yield factor of products. The display device includes a back substrate which has a plurality of cathode lines which extend in one direction, are arranged in parallel in another direction which crosses one direction and include electron sources respectively, and a plurality of control electrodes which cross the cathode lines in a non-contact manner within a display region, extend in another direction and are arranged in parallel in one direction on an inner surface thereof, and a front substrate which has anodes and phosphors on an inner surface thereof and faces the back substrate with a given distance therebetween. The control electrodes are formed of plate-like control electrodes. The plate-like control electrode includes electron passing holes which allow electrons emitted from the electron sources to pass therethrough in the display region. Further, the plate-like control electrode has a portion which is fixed to the back substrate in an external non-display region. Still further, the plate-like control electrode has at least a portion in the external non-display region where the strength of the plate-like control electrode is gradually changed toward an end portion thereof in the extending direction.

    摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing an iron core comprising: a plate thickness measurement unit for measuring a thickness of the strip as an intermediate product of the iron core; an inlet guide for positioning the strip in a widthwise direction thereof; a mil roll unit for performing a rolling-bending process to the strip fed out of the inlet guide; a restraint jig for shaping the strip fed out of the mil unit and holding a curvature thereof constant; and a curvature measurement unit for measuring a curvature of the strip to which the rolling-bending process has been performed by using said mill roll. Position control of the inlet guide, the pressure roll unit, and the restraint jig is performed based on at least one of the plate thickness and the curvature of the strip.

    摘要: When a display device is formed using a plastic substrate, a yield is increased for separating individual display devices from a mother substrate. On a mother TFT substrate, plural TFT substrates are formed each of which includes a display region and terminal portions. On a mother opposed substrate formed of a plastic substrate having a thickness of 200 μm or less, display regions are formed so as to correspond to the display regions formed on the mother TFT substrate. On the mother opposed substrate, terminal openings are formed beforehand so as to correspond to the terminal portions formed on the mother TFT substrate. With this configuration, when the display devices are separated from the mother substrate, it is not necessary to perform half cutting for exposing the terminal portions, so that the display devices can be manufactured with high yields.
