摘要： A system to be installed within a room for detecting indoor condition data such as the interior area of the room and the number and position of occupants therein comprises an LED array for emitting a spotlight to form a multiplicity of light spots one by one successively as dispersed on the interior surface of the room at approximately equal spacings. The spotlight is projected from the array on the interior surface and concentrated on a one-dimensional PSD upon reflection. The indoor condition data is calculated by using triangulation for the optical system and output currents of the PSD as input signals.

摘要： The present invention provides a fork lift truck in which a pair of hose pulley wheels, lesser in diameter than a pair of chain wheels, are mounted rotatably below these chain wheels about which are wound a pair of lifting chains, and a pair of oil hoses belonging to a hydraulically attachment or unit are wound about these hose pulley wheels so as to be disposed inside said lifting chains and overlapped therewith in the longitudinal direction of the truck. In this manner, the oil hoses of the driving attachment are hidden behind the lifting chains when seen in the longitudinal direction so that the hoses do not directly obstruct the forward view of the driver.

摘要： An air bag for side collision is arranged substantially in the vertical direction between a vehicular inner wall and a passenger in an expanded state of the air bag. A lower side of the air bag is folded to be incorporated into the lower side in the expanded state. The lower side of the air bag in the expanded state is the upstream side of flow of expansion gas. The air bag has a narrowed gas flow port for regulating the flow of the expansion gas between the lower side and the upper side of the air bag in the expanded state so that the lower side can ensure sufficient inner pressure even when the passenger interferes with expansion of the lower side of the air bag during expansion, since the flow of the expansion gas is regulated by the gas communication port provided between the lower side and the upper side of the air bag. As a result, an inflator having small output can be used.

摘要： An air bag wherein a peripheral wall portion on one side opposite to an opening for introducing an inflation gas is put on the side of a peripheral wall portion having the opening and flattened. The peripheral edges around the opening are folded together closer to the opening side at the first stage. Peripheral edges on the end portion side thus folded around the opening are folded at the second stage in such a manner as to set the peripheral edges closer to the opening side whereby to house the air bag in a casing. The region of an air bag cover which is positioned above and substantially closer to a center of the air bag thus folded up is thick-walled so that the region thereof may protrude downward from the periphery of the air bag.

摘要： In an airbag-equipped steering wheel, a plurality of horn switch mechanisms assembled to a bag holder each have a securing pin, which is inserted into a corresponding one of through holes formed in a metal core. A clip is engaged with a locking groove of each securing pin, so that each horn switch mechanism is fastened to the metal core. The through holes include one or more normal through holes that restrict inclination of the corresponding securing pins, and a special through hole that has an inclination permitting portion. The inclination permitting portion permits the corresponding securing pin to be inclined about the corresponding clip 13 serving as a fulcrum. In the special through hole, the securing pin is permitted to be inclined about the clip serving as a fulcrum only when the clips are disengaged from the securing pin in all the normal through holes.
