摘要: A control module cluster unit which enables high-speed communication by restraining the effect of noise, for constituting a high-reliability vehicle control system including a plurality of control modules each having control functions modularized in accordance with control objects, such as ECU for engine control, ECU for ABS, etc. in conventional use, an input/output module, common modules, and communication modules collectively mounted in one casing are so constituted as to enable mutual communication through a common bus on a mother board. A signal inputted in the input/output module is distributed to each module requiring the input signal through the mother board. The control module cluster unit also has a temperature sensor for detecting casing temperature and a power source for powering each of the modules. When detected temperature is abnormally high, the power source shuts down less important parts of the control module cluster units.

摘要: A storage circuit of a portable device stores setting data concerning a function installed on a used vehicle or an in-use vehicle. Stored setting data of the portable device is read when the user gets in an in-use vehicle after use of a used vehicle. Setting data stored in the storage section of the vehicle apparatus is also read. The two read setting data are compared. When a comparison result shows a difference, execution of a function is permitted based on setting data read from the storage circuit of the portable device. The user can be notified of a function not used by the user or a new function when execution of the functions is permitted.

摘要: When an ACC menu is called out on a liquid crystal screen of an operating section, the screen shown in FIG. 19 is displayed. When “Execution” of automatic color calibration for use of a copying function is selected, the screen in FIG. 20 is displayed. When it is desired to use the copying function, a gradation calibration table used when the copying function is changed with reference to the deference data. When Print Start key in FIG. 20 is selected, a plurality of density gradation patterns corresponding to colors of YMCK as well as to a plurality of image quality mode such as characters and pictures are formed on a transfer material. The density gradation patterns are previously stored and set in a ROM of an IPU. A write value for a pattern is changed according to a result of detection of the development characteristics.

摘要: An information system capable of analyzing customer interests in unpurchased commodities is provided. The information system specifies a commodity shelf or a commodity of interest to a customer based on information captured by a camera group independently of whether the customer purchases the commodity. The information system immediately displays the specified commodity shelf or commodity on a display apparatus in association with customer information. Before the customer purchases a commodity, a sales assistant can effectively identify the customer and the commodity shelf or commodity of interest and promote the sale of the commodity.

摘要: To provide a multiplex communication system where nodes can reliably shift to a sleep state even though the system has a very simple structure and even if abnormal conditions occur in any node, multiple nodes communicate with each other through a communication network, and when the individual nodes are in a state of being unable to shift to a sleep state, they set a sleep disable bit in signals to be transmitted and transmit them. When they become able to shift to the sleep state, the individual nodes confirm that they have not yet received an active sleep disable bit sent from other nodes continuously over a predetermined period of time or more. Thereafter, each individual node proceeds to the sleep state. According to the system, the individual nodes can proceed to the sleep state by simply determining non-transmission of the sleep disable bit from other nodes even in the presence of nodes deactivated due to failures.
