    摘要: A novel 4-cyanopiperidine derivative, which is represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X means a halogen atom, or an acid addition salt thereof, is prepared by reacting N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-4-carbamoylpiperidine or an acid addition salt thereof with a dehydrating and halogenating agent; or by reacting 4-cyanopiperidine or a salt thereof with a compound represented by the following general formula (IV):X--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --Y (IV)wherein X has the same meaning as defined above and Y denotes the same halogen atom as X or another halogen atom. The derivative is useful as intermediate for synthesis of quinuclidine derivative which is in turn useful as intermediate for the production of medicines, chemicals, etc.

    摘要: In order to enable sharing between a TFT liquid crystal panel and an STN liquid crystal panel as well as provide a colorful gray scale representation, each signal electrode drive circuit for driving a liquid crystal includes a signal conversion means for converting a gray scale display voltage for TFT driving to a gray scale display pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to the gray scale level. Accordingly, the apparatus for driving a liquid crystal panel such as a TFT liquid crystal panel in which the gray scale control is performed by using the voltage level can be used as the drive apparatus for a liquid crystal panel such as an STN liquid crystal panel in which the gray scale control is performed by pulse width modulation, and a multilevel gray scale representation is achieved because a gray scale display voltage is converted to a gray scale display pulse signal having a pulse width corresponding to the gray scale level.

    摘要: An oil-pressure warning apparatus for automobiles includes an oil-pressure switch which is turned on when the circulation pressure of engine oil drops below a predetermined level, an alarm circuit which provides an electrical path in response to the on-off operation of the oil-pressure switch, and a warning control circuit which energizes the alarm circuit when the oil-pressure switch is turned on and maintains the energization of the alarm circuit. Thus, even when the oil pressure switch fluctuates back and forth between its on and off positions, the warning lamp will not flash.
