摘要： An electronic apparatus includes: a housing; a heating member in the housing; and a display device in the housing, the display device having a display screen. The housing has: a mask portion including an opening, the opening configured to expose the display screen therethrough; a cover portion provided opposing to the mask portion with respect to the display device; and at least two connecting portions configured to connect the mask portion and the cover portion, and to sandwich the heating member. Each of the at least two connecting portions includes a gap portion that allows expansion and contraction of the housing due to thermal expansion between the connecting portion and at least one of the mask portion and the cover portion.

摘要： An information apparatus such as a portable computer comprises a main body having an upper surface, and a display unit. The display unit includes a display housing having a front surface and a rear surface located opposite to the front surface, and a display contained in the display housing and having a display screen exposed to the front surface. The display unit is supported on the main body to be rotatable between a closed position where the display unit falls down to cover the upper surface and an open position where the display unit stands up to expose the upper surface. An optical communication device for transmitting/receiving data by using infrared is contained within the display housing. The communication device has a communication port exposed to the rear surface of the display housing.

摘要： The portable electronic apparatus has a box-like casing having a peripheral wall, and a pack receptacle defined within the casing. The pack receptacle has an opening portion opened in the peripheral wall. A packaged functional component is stored in the pack receptacle, such that the functional component can be detached therefrom through the opening portion. The pack receptacle of the casing is provided with a locking member for holding the functional component. The locking member is movable by manual operation between a locked position where the locking member is hooked on the functional component and a lock-released position where the locking member leaves the functional component. The pack receptacle is provided with a spring for energizing the functional component in the direction in which the functional component is pushed out through the opening portion. The opening portion of the casing and the locking member are covered with a detachable cover.

摘要： A personal computer has a casing that includes a rear wall formed having an aperture, and a first expansion connector is located in the casing so as to face the aperture. A connector cover for opening and closing the aperture is swingably provided on the rear wall of the casing. An expansion adapter to which the computer is connected includes a carrying surface, on which the casing is detachably mounted, and a first relay connector located adjacent to the carrying surface and connectable with the first expansion connector. Provided on the carrying surface is a pushing projection that engages the connector cover, thereby causing it to swing to an open position, when the casing placed on the carrying surface is moved toward the first relay connector.

摘要： A compact electronic apparatus includes a base unit having a bottom wall and a side wall, an attachment recess having a bottom opening portion formed in the bottom wall of the base unit, and a battery pack to be fitted in the attachment recess from the bottom opening portion. The battery pack has a size slightly shorter than the attachment recess and is slidable in the attachment recess by a predetermined distance substantially equal to the difference between those lengths. A side opening portion continuous to the bottom opening portion and open to the side wall is formed in one end of the attachment recess. First engaging portions are provided at the side opening portion, and second engaging portions at the far end portion of the attachment recess. The battery pack is provided with third engaging portions and fourth engaging portions, which engage with the first and second engaging portions, respectively, when the battery pack is slid in the attachment recess by the predetermined distance.
