摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus including: (a) a recording head; (b) an ink supply source; (c) an ink supply conduit interconnecting the recording head and the ink supply source, such that the ink is supplied from the ink supply source to the recording head in an ink supplying direction; (d) a movable body disposed in the ink supply conduit and movable in the ink supply conduit; (e) a moving device configured to move the movable body in the ink supply conduit; and (f) a control device configured to control the moving device. The ink supply conduit includes a small-clearance defining portion in which a small clearance is to be defined between the movable body and an inner surface of the ink supply conduit when the movable body is being positioned in the small-clearance defining portion. The control device is configured to control the moving device, such that the movable body is moved from a first position located in the small-clearance defining portion, to a second position located in the small-clearance defining portion, whereby the ink within the small-clearance defining portion is caused to flow toward the recording head.

摘要: In a stator for an electric motor, insulating members are formed on laminated iron cores divided for each pole-tooth unit in the direction of the output shaft and windings are applied perpendicularly to the pole-tooth portions in a high-density alignment. After a predetermined number of the laminated iron cores are combined so as to form a cylindrical configuration, they are welded at the outer end portions of the dividing surfaces in the direction of lamination so as to construct an integral structure stator with rigidity, thereby enabling high densification of the windings (conductor space factor of 70%) and space-savings in the winding end portions. Further, as any joint portions between the pole-tooth portions are not necessary, reduction (5 to 10%) in motor efficiency due to such joint portions can be prevented, and, as any integrally forming by resinous members is not necessary, inter-winding short-circuiting is not caused. Welding may be replaced by adhesive bonding. Otherwise, an annular member may be employed to form an integral structure of the divided iron core lamination.

摘要: A radioactive waste is treated by supplying a liquid concentrate of at least one of a radioactive liquid waste and a radioactive waste slurry to a centrifugal film dryer, thereby drying and pulverizing insoluble and soluble solid matters contained in the concentrate, washing the centrifugal film drier with hot water after the drying and pulverization, settling the effluent washing water together with a condensate containing solid matters generated in the drying and pulverization, and supplying a slurry of insoluble solid matters separated by the settling to the centrifugal film drier, thereby drying and pulverizing the solid matters. The dried powder from the centrifugal film drier can be pelletized in a pelletizer, and effluent washing water generated by washing the pelletizer with hot water after the pelletization can be subjected to the settling together with the effluent washing water and the condensate from the centrifugal film drier. Operating load of the centrifugal film drier is considerably reduced, and the operating efficiency and life of the centrifugal film drier are improved thereby.

摘要: Provided is a method of producing radio-active waste package. By evaporating and drying, the radio-active waste is reduced to a radio-active powder which is formed into pellets in order to ease its disposal. The pellets are received in a container and then impregnated therein with a thermoplastic composition so as to be integrally solidify in the container. The prior technical method cannot fully impregnate the pellets with the thermoplastic material. The present invention improves the prior art technical method of producing radio-active waste package thereby to eliminate the above disadvantage. The present invention also provides a device for carrying out the above method.

摘要: In treatment of aqueous solutions and suspensions of radioactive waste through a step of drying and pulverizing the aqueous solutions and suspensions and a successive step of compressing and solidifying the resulting powders of radioactive waste, a step of measuring a water content of the powders is provided between the step of drying and pulverizing and the step of compressing and solidifying. When the measured water content of the powders fails to satisfy a predetermined water content, the powders are eliminated from a system of the treatment without passing through the step of compressing and solidifying.
