    摘要: Variable displacement compressors (101) include a displacement control valve (181) that is in communication with a drive chamber (111). The output displacement of the compressor varies in response to changes in pressure within the drive chamber. A controller (203) may control the displacement control valve so that the pressure within the drive chamber is maintained within a predetermined range. Further, the predetermined range may be determined based upon one or more factors that cause fluctuations in the pressure within the drive chamber during operation of the compressor.

    摘要: A vehicle air conditioner including a refrigerant circuit that incorporates a variable displacement compressor driven by an engine of the vehicle. The air conditioner includes a control valve for varying the displacement of the compressor and an ECU for controlling the control valve. The control valve has a bellows, a valve body, and a coil. The ECU varies the displacement of the compressor by energizing the coil to apply a force, which counters the movement of the bellows, to the valve body to move the valve body. This alters the moved amount of the bellows. The air conditioner control unit gradually changes the force applied to the valve body by the coil to adjust the pressure difference and vary the displacement of the compressor when the engine is running at an idle speed.

    摘要: A control valve is located in a variable displacement compressor incorporated in a refrigerant circuit. The control valve controls the displacement of the compressor in accordance with a pressure difference between a first pressure monitoring point and a second pressure monitoring point, which are located in the refrigerant circuit, such that the pressure difference seeks a predetermined target value. An adjusting valve, which is a variable throttle valve, is located in a section of the refrigerant circuit between the first and second pressure monitoring points. The adjusting valve adjusts the restriction amount of the refrigerant in relation to the refrigerant flow in the refrigerant circuit. The compressor displacement is thus optimally controlled.

    摘要: A valve body adjusts opening of a supply passage in response to the position in a valve chamber. A pressure-sensitive member is moved in accordance with the pressure difference between two pressure monitoring points, which are located in an external refrigerant circuit. The movement of the pressure-sensitive member affects the position of the valve body such that the compressor displacement is changed to reduce fluctuations in the pressure difference. A solenoid changes force applied to the valve body so that a set pressure difference, which is a reference value for changing the position of the valve body by the pressure-sensitive member, is changed.

    摘要: A variable displacement type compressor in which a discharge-pressure region, a suction-pressure region and a pressure control chamber are defined, has a tiltable swash plate and a piston reciprocated by the swash plate in the pressure control chamber. The inclination angle of the swash plate and the piston stroke are changed by adjustment of pressure in the pressure control chamber thereby to control the displacement of the compressor. The compressor further comprises a supply passage for supplying refrigerant gas from the discharge-pressure region to the pressure control chamber, a release passage for releasing the refrigerant gas from the pressure control chamber to the suction-pressure region, a first control valve for adjusting a cross-sectional area of the supply passage from the discharge-pressure region to the pressure control chamber and a second control valve for adjusting cross-sectional area of the release passage. The second control valve includes a valve body for opening and closing the release passage whose cross-sectional area is set minimum when the valve body is located at the closed position and a valve spring for urging the valve body in a direction to open the release passage. When the second control valve is closed, pressure in the supply passage downstream the first control valve acts on the valve body in a direction to close the release passage and pressure in the suction-pressure region acts on the valve body in a direction to open the release passage.
