摘要: A regenerative braking control system for an electric vehicle which can be driven by operating an electric motor with electric energy supplied from an electric energy supply source mounted on the vehicle. A control unit (7) is designed so that regenerative braking force of the electric motor (2) is controlled in accordance with an inclination detected by an inclination detecting unit (28). This has made it possible to provide the electric vehicle with improved drivability and running performance.

摘要: A brake apparatus for an electric automobile applies brakes to the vehicle to achieve a required amount of braking force by combining regenerative braking force of an electric motor with mechanical braking force produced by a mechanical braking system. The braking force required by a driver is obtained from the depression force applied to a brake pedal, and the maximum regenerative braking force, that can be generated by the motor, is obtained from the rotation speed of the motor. The target mechanical braking force is calculated based on the required braking force and the maximum regenerative braking force. By suitably controlling the pneumatic pressure applied to a booster device provided in the mechanical brake system, the fluid pressure actually applied to brake actuating members is controlled to provide the target mechanical braking force.

The navigation system is mounted on the electric automobile. A destination, to which one wants to drive by the automobile, is inputted as drive plan information. Based on a distance planned to be driven by the automobile to the destination and a remaining capacity of the battery determined by remaining capacity detector, it is determined whether the automobile can reach the destination with the remaining capacity of the battery.
