摘要: Disclosed is an information and electrical power transmission system. In this system, when required, i.e., when an ignition keyswitch is in an ON state, a plurality of information and electrical power are transmitted from an electrical power supply side to an electrical power receiving side through a signal line, and, at the same time, a plurality of information can be transmitted through the signal line from the electrical power receiving side to the electrical power supply side. When the ignition keyswitch is in an OFF state, information which is required to be always transmitted can be transmitted with a low power consumption, so that the information and electrical power necessary for a vehicle are suitably transmitted.

摘要: A sensing apparatus including: a first electrode member; a second electrode member arranged at opposing positions a predetermined distance away and electrically isolated from the first electrode member; and an electric circuit connected to the first and second electrode members. The first and the second electrode members are operatively connected by an impedance formed between the first and the second electrode members in response to existence of a substance to be sensed between the first and the second electrode members. The electric circuit outputs a signal in response to the impedance. The sensing apparatus is applicable for detecting, for example, the level of a liquid in a vessel.

摘要: Method and apparatus for instantaneously measuring fuel consumption rate and indicating the instantaneously measuring distance traveled per unit fuel amount consumed, i.e., the instantaneous fuel consumption rate of a running vehicle. A signal representing the operating parameter of the internal combustion engine of the running vehicle measured in terms of the amount of fuel being consumed by the vehicle and another signal representing the running speed of the vehicle are separately integrated by first and second integrating circuits, whereby when the integrated value of the first integrating circuit reaches a predetermined value, the integrated value of the second integrating circuit is indicated.

摘要: Indication of possible vehicle running distance with remnant fuel is accomplished by measuring the fuel amount, the fuel consumption and the running distance and calculating the possible remaining running distance with remnant fuel. The indication is directly based on the current driving condition so that the driver can know the possible running distance with remnant fuel in continued driving under similar conditions. The indication can prevent fuel shortage and also teach a driver economic driving.

摘要: An average fuel consumption rate measuring system wherein the distance traveled by a vehicle per unit fuel consumption is computed and indicated to let the driver know the driving conditions of the vehicle and instruct the driver in economical driving. Namely, a first electrical signal is generated for every predetermined distance traveled by the vehicle and the signals are integrated to indicate the total distance traveled, while on the other hand a second electrical signal is generated for every predetermined amount of fuel consumed by the vehicle and the signals are integrated to indicate the total fuel consumption, and one of the integrated value is divided by the other to indicate an average fuel consumption rate.
