    摘要: It is proposed to lessen the weight and improve the mechanical strength of a retainer of a valve open-close mechanism driven by an electromagnetic actuator used in an automotive internal combustion engine. The electromagnetic actuator is mounted in a housing mounted on an internal combustion engine body. A first stem has its tip abutting the valve, which is provided with a retainer and carries a first coil spring. A second stem is provided on the other side of an armature. The second stem has a retainer. Between this retainer and the housing, a second coil spring is mounted. At least one of these parts is made of a metal smaller in specific weight than iron or its alloy. Each retainer has a boss and an arcuate corner portion having a radius of curvature R of 1.0 mm or over between a spring abutting surface and the boss to relieve stress concentration.

    摘要: An outer ring of a cross roller bearing is a composite component having an outer ring main body portion comprised of a lightweight metal alloy and a raceway surface formation portion that is linked to an inner side thereof and that is comprised of a ferrous material, and is manufactured in the following manner. A ring for forming the raceway surface formation portion is preformed, the ring is inserted into a forging die, powder forging is performed using a metal powder for manufacturing the outer ring main body portion, a composite component is manufactured in which a ring-shaped portion for forming the outer ring main body portion is integrally formed with the raceway surface formation ring, and an after-treatment is performed on the product. A lightweight, highly durable bearing ring can be manufactured by this method.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a rigid internal gear for a wave gear device comprising an internally toothed portion and a gear main body portion comprised of different materials. In this method, a gear main body ring for forming a gear main body portion is preformed using a first aluminum alloy powder; an internal teeth-forming ring is preformed using a second aluminum alloy powder that has lower processability, is less durable, has higher abrasion resistance, and is harder than the first aluminum alloy powder; the internal teeth-forming ring is fitted inside the gear main body ring and the assembly is integrated by powder forging; and the resulting ring-shaped forging is subjected to post-processing, including cutting teeth. The gear main body portion and internally toothed portion are securely integrated by powder forging, and a lightweight rigid internal gear with high durability can therefore be obtained.

    摘要: In an optical disk drive, in order to cancel a lens offset which may occur when performing a seek followed by a read, a seek position must be set several sectors before a target position for the read, resulting in a delay in access time. A lens offset amount is measured when a seek followed by read is started, and how many sectors before a read target position a seek position must be set is determined on the basis of two parameters, namely, the lens offset amount and a number of seek tracks. Thereby, an optimum seek position at which the lens offset is canceled can be set with no waste, resulting in an improvement in access time.

    摘要: In a powder forging process, a heated green compact is placed in a stationary die and subjected to a press-forging carried out mainly to reduce the thickness thereof by cooperation of the stationary die with a movable die. The press-forging is performed at two pressing steps. After placement of the green compact into the concave molding portion of the stationary die, the pressing step were carried out. Thus, it is possible to produce a forged product having a high strength and a high toughness. A heated heat insulator also may be placed in the stationary die to provide a temperature-retaining effect to the green compact before and during pressing.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a rigid internal gear for a wave gear device comprising an internally toothed portion and a gear main body portion comprised of different materials. In this method, a gear main body ring for forming a gear main body portion is preformed using a first aluminum alloy powder; an internal teeth-forming ring is preformed using a second aluminum alloy powder that has lower processability, is less durable, has higher abrasion resistance, and is harder than the first aluminum alloy powder; the internal teeth-forming ring is fitted inside the gear main body ring and the assembly is integrated by powder forging; and the resulting ring-shaped forging is subjected to post-processing, including cutting teeth. The gear main body portion and internally toothed portion are securely integrated by powder forging, and a lightweight rigid internal gear with high durability can therefore be obtained.

    摘要: A witness system using EDI (electronic data interchange) to perform efficient distribution and account settlement processes between selling and buying companies. A buying company makes documents according to delivery or order vouchers, and electronically sends the documents to a selling company via a notarization authority. The selling company compares the authentication documents with delivery or order vouchers the selling company issued, and, after determining that the documents are correct executes a confirmation response to the notarization authority. The notarization authority registers the documents in the witness server's receipts detail table and notifies the buying and selling companies that the notarization authority authenticated the documents. This structure enables the making of accurate detailed payment statements when, for example, a detailed payment statement is made or a funds transfer is executed based on confirmed data. Furthermore, checking the detailed payment statement is made simpler through reference to the witness system server.

The high-strength high-toughness aluminum alloy includes a first phase of .alpha.-aluminum consisting of crystal grains whose mean crystal grain size is within the range of 60 to 1000 nm and a second phase of at least two different of intermetallic compounds consisting of crystal grains whose mean crystal grain sizes are within the range of 20 to 2000 nm. The crystal grains of the intermetallic compounds are dispersed so that they are only intermittently, and not continuously, linked throughout the alloy material.

The heat-resistant, high-toughness aluminum alloy of this invention contains 10 to 16 mass. % of silicon, 1 to 3 mass % of iron, 1 to 2 mass % of nickel, 0.5 to 2 mass % in total of one or more selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, chromium and vanadium, 0.6 to 3 mass % of copper, and 0.2 to 2 mass % of magnesium, the balance being essentially aluminum, and is obtained by densifying aluminum alloy powder prepared by gas atomizing. The silicon has an average grain diameter of 4 μm or less.

Also disclosed in a process for producing the aluminum alloy which comprises the steps of: rapid quenching and solidifying a liquid aluminum alloy at a quenching rate of 102 to 105 K/sec to obtain an aluminum-based supersaturated solid solution; and heat treating the quenched aluminum-based supersaturated solid solution at a heat treating temperature of 473 K or higher, the temperature increasing rate to the heat treating temperature being 1.5 K/sec or higher.
