    摘要: A straddle type vehicle includes a side mirror with which a rider confirms a rear side; a detection unit configured to detect another vehicle in a periphery of a self-vehicle; and a display unit configured to display a detection result by the detection unit. The display unit displays the detection result at a position within a contour of the side mirror and on an inner side in a vehicle width direction. In a case in which the another vehicle is detected by the detection unit, the display unit displays a color different from a display color of the detection result in a peripheral portion of a display region of the detection result.

    摘要: A shift position detecting device where a shift position determining member is provided for determining a shift position based on a combination of switching modes of three switches corresponding to at least one of a plurality of projection rows each having a plurality of projection portions in a one-by-one basis, and “1, 1, 1” indicative of an ON state of each switch is allocated as a detection logic at a neutral position arranged between a first speed position and a second speed position, wherein a change in friction at the time of a shift operational to the neutral position is alleviated thus giving an operational feeling with no discomfort to a rider. Two projection rows that are objects to be detected by two specified switches among the three switches are formed so as to change switching modes of the specified switches from an OFF state to an ON state.

    摘要: To show an image with minimal sense of discomfort felt by an occupant without quickening an updating cycle of an on-screen image, a virtual data generator making up a vehicle meter indicator device generates virtual data based on an arbitrary engine rotation speed between an engine rotation speed proportional to an image currently shown on a liquid crystal display device and a latest engine rotation speed rather than display data based on the latest engine rotation speed immediately before updating if the engine rotation speed declines. This allows the liquid crystal display device to show the generated virtual data on a liquid crystal panel as a virtual image for updating.

When the obstacle is determined to be within the predetermined distance by the approach determination device and the operation of the winker manipulator in the direction of the obstacle is detected, the winker operation resistance increasing device is operated to increase the operation resistance of the winker manipulator and vibrators located in a steering handle and a fuel tank are operated.
