Abstract: A memory swapping method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: selecting n to-be-swapped-out pages; compressing the n to-be-swapped-out pages into n compressed blocks, and buffering the n compressed blocks in a compressed data buffer area; organizing at least one of the n compressed blocks into m to-be-written units; and writing the m to-be-written units into a swap area of a non-volatile storage device in a maximum of m batches, where at least one of the m to-be-written units is stored in a segment of continuous space in the swap area. The method reduces a quantity of write times during memory swapping, thereby prolonging a service life of the non-volatile storage device.

Abstract: A circuit board assembly is applied to the field of electronic communications technologies to resolve a prior-art heat dissipation problem of a circuit board. The circuit board assembly combines, on a second circuit board, low-speed signals transmitted between a plurality of I/O modules and an IC chip, and then transmits the combined low-speed signals to the IC chip by using a low-speed cable. A low-speed signal sent by the IC chip to the plurality of I/O modules is extended to a plurality of low-speed signals on the second circuit board, and then the plurality of low-speed signals are separately sent to the plurality of I/O modules. This may be applied to a scenario in which a relatively large quantity of electronic components need to be disposed on a circuit board.

Abstract: A system startup method includes creating a first thread when a kernel driver in a kernel mode detects a first disk partition, reading, in the kernel mode, metadata of the first disk partition using the first thread, and writing the metadata of the first disk partition into a first page cache using the first thread. In the kernel mode, metadata of a disk partition is pre-cached into a page cache using the first thread, and in a subsequent process in a user mode, the metadata of the disk partition is directly read from the page cache. A storage area of the page cache is memory and has a higher read/write operation rate compared with a disk.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for measuring a network delay are disclosed.
