    Abstract: A cart is disclosed for carrying a gas bottle. The cart includes a wheeled frame and a bottle support platform. The support platform is configured to pivot between a loading position in which a gas bottle may be loaded and/or unloaded from the bottle support platform and a cradle position in which the gas bottle and the bottle support platform are elevated. A bottle rest may support the bottle when the bottle support platform is in the cradle position. A bottle support spine may also, or alternatively, support the bottle during transportation and act as a lever for pivoting the bottle support platform between the loading position and the cradle position.

    Abstract: Welding-type systems and user interfaces having a color display for displaying physical setup instructions are disclosed. Example interface devices include a process selection input device, a display device, a memory, and a processor. The memory stores weld connection setup graphics and physical welding connections. Each of the plurality of weld connection setup graphics is a graphic of a perspective view of a power supply. The processor, in response to identifying a selected welding process type via the welding process selection input device, displays one of the plurality of the weld connection setup graphics via the display device. The processor detects a physical welding connection made at the power supply, determines, based on the detected physical welding connection, that the detected physical welding connection is incorrect for the selected welding process type, and displays an alert on the display device to indicate an error in the detected physical welding connection.

    Abstract: A welding system includes a housing having a front panel assembly. The welding system also includes first and second handles. The first handle is coupled to a first side of the front panel assembly and the second handle is coupled to a second side of the front panel assembly that is opposite from the first side. Each handle includes a recessed handle portion having an inner wall that forms an angle of between approximately 60 degrees and approximately 80 degrees with respect to an outer wall of the respective handle. The first and second handles are symmetrical about a central axis such that the first and second handles are interchangeable with each other. In addition, the first and second handles each include a plurality of internal tabs on both top and bottom sides of the first and second handles. The internal tabs facilitate coupling and alignment of the first and second handles with the front panel assembly.

    Abstract: A welding system includes a frame having a first sliding track and a second sliding track. The welding system also includes a cover piece having a first set of tabs configured to slide within the first sliding track, and a second set of tabs configured to slide within the second sliding track. The first and second sets of tabs are disposed on opposite sides of the cover piece. The cover piece includes an indention configured to mate with a detent protruding from a fan louver of the frame when the cover piece is slid into an open position. In addition, the welding system includes a plurality of electrical connections. The cover piece substantially covers the plurality of electrical connections when the cover piece is slid into a closed position within the sliding tracks, and the plurality of electrical connections are entirely exposed when the cover piece is slid into the open position within the sliding tracks.
