Abstract: A display controller for a display may include a frame rate circuit to change a frame rate of the display from a first frame rate to a second frame rate, and a reference voltage circuit to adjust a reference voltage of the display from a first reference voltage corresponding to the first frame rate to a second reference voltage corresponding to the second frame rate. The display may be a thin film transistor liquid crystal display. The reference voltage may correspond to a common voltage (Vcom) for the display.

Abstract: Thermal Management Systems for electronic devices and related methods are disclosed. An example electronic housing includes a housing defining a cavity, electronics in the cavity, and a touch display over the electronics. A heat spreader has a first surface toward the electronics and a second surface opposite the first surface toward the touch display, where the heat spreader is to dissipate heat generated by the electronics. A glass cover is coupled to the housing and has a first side toward the touch display and a second side opposite the first side, where the glass cover is exposed external to the housing. An insulation layer is between the second surface of the heat spreader and the second side of the glass cover to restrict heat transfer from the electronics to the second side of the glass cover.

Abstract: Aspects of the embodiments are directed to a data transmission receiver that includes a neural network circuit for resolving a received bit value. The data transmission receiver can be coupled to a data transmitter by a high speed data link. The neural network circuit can sample a bit value at multiple locations across the bit's unit interval. The neural network circuit can also sample bit values for neighboring bits to the interested bit at multiple sampling locations across unit intervals for the neighboring bits. The neural network circuit can determine the value of the interested bit from the samples of the waveform.
