The present invention relates to a switch monitoring method and a switch monitoring system, a railway line management method and a railway line management system. Electric signal of a switch motor during pulling of the switch can effectively reflect status of the switch, when the switch is in a stable state, electric signal of its motor is very steady during pulling of the switch; however, when the switch is in an unstable state, there will be different degrees of fluctuation in electric signal of its motor during pulling of the switch. Thus, the invention may be used to identify state of a switch by monitoring electric signal of a switch motor, and further take different measures based on different states of the switch. With these measures, accidents due to switch failure may be effectively reduced, and train delay time may also be reduced through proper line management.

A method of querying spatial events in a vehicle network includes receiving, by a processing device, a query condition of a user; in response to reception of the query condition of the user, determining context information of a position where the user locates; and according to the query condition of the user and the context information of the position where the user locates, querying an index table recording correspondence between terminal nodes of roads in a road map and spatial events to obtain spatial events meeting the query condition of the user.

A method and apparatus are disclosed for inferring a travel path in a public transportation system. The apparatus comprises: a single-line origin-destination (OD) inferring device configured to infer from boarding data of a bus line a passenger alighting stop on the line as an inferred passenger alighting stop according to historical data, wherein the boarding data comprises a passenger boarding stop during a predetermined time period and a number of boarding passengers at the stop. A transfer line inferring device is configured to infer a passenger transfer line as an inferred passenger transfer line according to the boarding data and the inferred passenger alighting stop obtained by the single-line OD inferring means.

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for creating a virtual machine as well as a cloud server. A method for creating a virtual machine comprises: in response to a request from a user for creating a virtual machine, loading an operating system for said virtual machine based on a choice made by said user; assembling at least one application for said virtual machine based on a choice made by said user regarding said at least one application, including: based on pre-stored and application-related information, copying files involved in said application to a predetermined location on said virtual machine and changing public resource configuration managed by said operating system. The present invention enables users to flexibly install desirable software at the time of applying for creating a virtual machine without spending too much time.
