摘要： A method of producing a skin-covered pad for a seat, which includes (a) preparing a lower mold which has a cavity formed therein, the lower mold having a first electrode mounted thereto through an insulator, the first electrode having a plurality of projections which are exposed to the cavity; (b) putting a bag-shaped outer skin member into the cavity, the skin member being thermally plastic; (c) putting an upper mold on the lower mold to close the cavity, the upper mold having an aperture formed therethrough; (d) projecting a press member into the cavity through the aperture, the press member having at its work head a second electrode secured thereto through an insulator, the second electrode having at its front face recesses which are shaped to match with the projections of the first electrode; (e) pressing the recessed face of the second electrode against the projections of the first electrode with a part of the outer skin member therebetween; (f) applying a high frequency current between the first and second electrodes thereby to heat and thus soften the part of the outer skin member; (g) separating the recessed face of the second electrode from the projections of the first electrode; and (h) pouring a liquid material for foamed plastic into the cavity and curing the same.

摘要： A method of producing a skin-covered pad for a seat, which includes by steps (a) preparing a lower mold which has a cavity formed therein, the mold having projections on a bottom of the cavity; (b) putting a bag-shaped outer skin member into the cavity, the skin member being thermally plastic; (c) putting an upper mold on the lower mold to close the cavity, the upper mold having an aperture formed therethrough; (d) projecting a press member into the cavity through the aperture, the press member having at its work head recesses which are shaped to match with the projections of the lower mold; (e) pressing the recessed work head of the press member against the projections of the lower mold with an interposal of a part of the outer skin member therebetween; (f) heating the work head of the press member thereby to soften the part of the outer skin member; (g) separating the work head of the press member away from the projections of the lower mold; and (h) pouring a liquid material for foamed plastic into the cavity and curing the same.

摘要： A seat slide device with a walk-in mechanism comprises a stationary guide rail fixed onto a floor panel and a slidable guide rail slidably fitted to the stationary guide rail for fore-aft position adjustment of a seat, a screw-threaded shaft member rotatably supported on one of the slidable guide rail and the stationary guide rail, and a nut member engaged with the screw-threaded shaft member for causing fore-aft motion of the slidable guide rail to the stationary guide rail through rotation of the screw-threaded shaft member. The walk-in mechanism includes a lock member being operable between a locked position to interlock the nut member to the other guide rail, and an unlocked position to permit a change of relative position of the nut member to the other guide rail. The lock plate is pivotally shifted between the locked position an the unlocked position by a control cable usually linked to a reclining lever.

摘要： An airbag restraint system for protecting a vehicle passenger in the event of a vehicle serious collision. The airbag restraint system includes an airbag which is adapted to inflate upon being supplied with gas from a gas generator. The airbag includes a bag-shaped section which is constituted of generally circular rear and front side sheet members which are joined together at their peripheral portions. A plurality of suspension belts are disposed inside the bag-shaped section. Each suspension belt is secured through rear and front belt catch members to the rear and front side sheet members. Each belt catch member is sewed to each sheet member, forming a sewed section which extends linearly and has a straightly extending portion generally perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of each suspension belt. The straightly extending portion of the sewed section is in a so-called bias state relative to the directions of the woven cloth grains of the sheet member.

摘要： A back-rest frame of a vehicular seat comprises a generally U-shaped frame member. The frame member includes a generally U-shaped upper section with which a pair of side sections are integrally connected. The frame member is formed of an elongate material which is made of an aluminum light alloy and has the same sectional shape throughout the length thereof. The elongate material includes a hollow base section with which extended wall sections are integral. The frame member is produced by bending the elongate material into a generally U-shape and then by cutting off the extended wall sections from a part corresponding to the upper section of the frame member.

摘要： An airbag restraint system for protecting a vehicle passenger in the event of a serious vehicle collision. The airbag is comprised of an airbag which is adapted to inflate upon being supplied with gas from a gas generator. The airbag includes a bag-shaped section which has generally circular rear and front side sheet members which are joined together at their peripheral portions to define a gas chamber to be filled with the gas from the gas generator. A plurality of suspension belts are disposed inside the bag-shaped section. One end of each suspension belt is sewed to a belt catch member which is in turn sewed to the central part of the rear side sheet member, thereby forming a sewed section. The sewed section extends linearly and includes a straightly extending portion which is generally perpendicular to a lenghwise direction of each suspension belt.
