    摘要: The present invention relates to a use of AtBG1 {Arabidopsis thaliana β-glucosidase 1) gene and a transgenic plan with the AtBG1 gene insertion, more precisely, a use of AtBG1 gene for the generation of a transgenic plant having resistance to various environmental stresses by increasing the level of abscisic acid (ABA), a kind of plant hormone, and a transgenic plant having stress-resistance with the AtBG1 gene insertion. Plants have enhanced resistance against various environmental stresses including low temperature, salt damage and dehydration owing to the increased level of ABA. Thus, the method to increase the level of ABA can greatly contribute to the enhancement of agricultural production.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of producing transformants with enhanced resistance and decreased uptake of heavy metals, and a plant transformed with a P type ATPase ZntA gene that pumps out heavy metals from the cells. The transformants show better growth than wild type in environment contaminated with heavy metals and have lower heavy metal contents than wild type plants. Therefore, this method of transforming plants with ZntA or biologically active ZntA-like heavy metal pumping ATPases can be useful for developing plants for phytoremediation and also for a safe crop that has resistance to heavy metals and low heavy metal contents.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a transcription factor of a plant, AtSIZ, induced by osmotic stress; a gene encoding the transcription factor; and a method for enhancing resistance to stress of a plant by using the gene. The AtSIZ protein isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana is a polypeptide, which contains a C3H-type zinc finger motif and acts as a transcription regulation factor activating transcription of genes related to stress response of a plant. Therefore, a plant with the enhanced resistance to osmotic stress can be produced by over expressing the AtSIZ gene in the plant through transforming recombinant plasmid containing AtSIZ gene into a plant and consequently, the productivity of the plant can be increased.
