Abstract:
A dot unit includes an opening formed in a housing and a protruding member disposed in the opening. The protruding member is rotatably supported by a support shaft. The protruding member is rotated by a polymer actuator in a direction that follows a reading direction in which a unit of information is read, and the protruding member is stabilized in a protruding position by contacting a restricting portion. When a finger is moved in the reading direction and contacts the protruding member, the protruding member is likely to be stabilized in the protruding position.
Abstract:
A photographer 2 registers photographing availability information by accessing a server at a service provider 3 from his terminal (S 1). A photograph client 1 registers photographing request information by accessing the server at the service provider 3 from a home terminal (S 2). The photograph client 1 selects a photographer 2 to be assigned to photograph a subject desired by the client based upon registered photographing availability information provided by photographers 2 (S 3). The selected photographer 2 performs a photographing operation (S 4). The photographer 2 registers a photographed image at the server of the service provider 3 (S 5). The photograph client 1 receives the image from the server of the service provider 3 (S 6).
Abstract:
A data recording/reproducing device includes: a position detection unit that detects information (hereafter referred to as position information) indicating a position at which data are acquired and reproduced; a determining unit that determines which specific set of geographical information, among a plurality of sets of geographical information defined in advance, the position information detected by the position detection unit at the time of data acquisition and data reproduction corresponds to; a recording control unit that records the acquired data into a recording medium based upon determining results provided by the determining unit; a selection unit that selects reproduction-permitted data from the recording medium based upon the geographical information determined by the determining unit at the time of data reproduction; and a reproducing unit that outputs and reproduces at least one set of data among the reproduction-permitted data having been selected.

A conductor of an electrical wire for wiring, which is obtained by stranding a plurality of copper alloy wire materials each having a composition containing 0.3 to 1.5 mass % of Cr, with the balance being Cu and inevitable impurities, and which has a tensile strength of 400 MPa or more and 650 MPa or less, an elongation of 7% or more when broken, an electrical conductivity of 65% IACS or more, a ratio between a 0.2% proof stress and the tensile strength of 0.7 or more and 0.95 or less, and a work-hardening exponent of 0.03 or more and 0.17 or less; a method of producing the same; an electrical wire for wiring, in which an insulating cover is provided on the conductor; and a copper alloy solid wire for the conductor.
Abstract:
Actuators are disposed between a lower wiring substrate and an upper wiring substrate. The actuators, the lower wiring substrate, and the upper wiring substrate are interposed between a lower frame and an upper frame. The end of each actuator is held between pushing parts of the lower frame and upper frame. The free ends of the actuators move projections upward that are displayed in a tactile display.
Abstract:
A communication terminal may include a processing unit that includes information identifying another communication terminal as path information in data when the data is directly transmitted from its own communication terminal to the other communication terminal, and a transmitting unit that directly transmits the data in which the path information is included by the processing unit to the other communication terminal.

The radiation detecting substrate further includes a mounting board including an edge portion connected to the circuit substrate at one end thereof, and a flexible substrate including a wiring pattern connected to the plurality of semiconductor devices. The fixing member includes a bottom, a first side wall extending in a normal direction to the bottom from one end of the bottom, a second side wall extending in the normal direction to the bottom from the other end of the bottom, and substrate supporting portions on the first side wall and the second side wall.
Abstract:
A first γ-ray generating in a body, caused by a PET pharmaceutical, and a second γ-ray emitted from a γ-ray source and transmitting through the body are detected with a radiation detector. The emission image information (E image information), E0, E1 and E2, at each of patient motion phases, 0, 1 and 2, which divided a cardiac beat and respiration period, are prepared by using each information obtained from the detected first γ-ray. The transmission image information (T image information), T0, T1 and T2, at each of patient motion phases, 0, 1 and 2, respectively, are prepared, by using each information obtained from the detected second γ-ray. Relative displacements, ([F10], [F20]), are determined by superimposing, on T image information T0, other T image information, T1 and T2. The E image information, E1, E2 are superimposed on the E image information E0, by using this relative displacement.
Abstract:
An apparatus for manufacturing wire comprising: a wire delivering equipment, a wire winding equipment, and an annealing while running equipment installed between the wire delivering equipment and the wire winding equipment, the age-precipitation copper alloy wire being passed in such manner that the wire turns around a plurality of times along a running route in the annealing while running equipment. The current applying equipment to raise a temperature of the age-precipitation copper alloy wire by generated Joule heat may be installed at upstream side of the annealing while running equipment. Another current applying equipment for solution treatment may be installed in tandem at upstream side of the annealing while running equipment. In place of the annealing while running equipment, a current applying equipment may be connected in tandem for age-treatment. By using those equipments, age-precipitation copper alloy wire having the diameter of from 0.03 mm to 3 mm may be obtained.
