摘要: Disclosed is an arrangement structure for an auxiliary component of a vehicle, which comprises a floor panel defining the bottom surface of the passenger compartment and having a first kick-up portion and a second kick-up portion disposed in side-by-side relation to the first kick-up portion in a lateral direction of a vehicle body and formed to have a height greater than that of the first kick-up portion, a first seat disposed on the first kick-up portion, a second seat formed to have a smaller size than that of the first seat and disposed on the second kick-up portion, and a cross member joined along the second kick-up portion in the lateral direction to form a closed section therebetween. The auxiliary component includes a first fuel tank arranged below the first kick-up portion, and a second fuel tank formed to have a height greater than that of the first fuel tank and arranged below the second kick-up portion. The arrangement structure of the present invention allows a vehicle to have a low overall-height compact body while achieving enhanced layout flexibility and assuring a passenger compartment space.

摘要: Disclosed is an underbody structure for an automobile, which comprises a pair of laterally-spaced floor frames 10 disposed to extend longitudinally in such a manner as to interpose a tunnel region 6 therebetween and joined to a bottom surface of a front floor portion 2. Each of the floor frames 10 has a rear end located in the vicinity of a rear kick-up portion 3 extending upward from a rear end of the front floor portion 2. The rear kick-up portion 3 and each rear end region of the floor frames 10 are connected to one another from the exterior side of the automobile through an end gusset 45 (47, 48). The end gusset 45 (47, 48) may be designed to define a closed section in cooperation with the rear kick-up portion 3, or to extend laterally outward so as to be connected to a front end region of a rear frame 17. The underbody structure of the present invention can prevent or suppress a rearward movement of each rear end of the floor frames during a head-on collision.

摘要: The reliability of the airtight sealed section is improved by providing a metallic or ceramic insertion member at a portion positioned between an electricity introducing member and a narrow tube in the airtight sealed section. The difference between the inner diameter of the narrow tube and the outer diameter of the insertion member is made 0.02 to 0.6 mm. The electricity introducing member is constructed by a halogen-resistant first member and a second member whose coefficient of linear expansion is similar to that of the narrow tube, and the junction of the first member and second member is covered with a halogen-resistant glass sealant. The difference between the insertion length of the second member into the narrow tube and the flow-in length of the glass sealant into the narrow tube is made 1 mm or more.

摘要: A roof is split into plural parts, a front roof and a rear roof. A roof-storage space is formed between a passenger's seat and a rear bulkhead which forms a rear end of a vehicle compartment, in which the roof is stored when the roof is open. There is provided a support mechanism which substantially horizontally supports the roof which is stored in the roof-storage space so that an upper space of the roof-storage space between the passenger's seat and the bulkhead is covered with only one of the plural parts of the roof.

摘要: An actuation system includes a pump assembly configured to form a pump chamber; an actuator having first and second chambers and a movable member and configured to convert pressures applied to the first and second chambers into a movement of the movable member; and a valve section. A controller controls the valve section to open a first flow path between the pump chamber and the first chamber and close a second flow path between the pump chamber with the second chamber, during a discharge period during which the pump chamber is pressurized, in a first mode; to close the first flow path and open the second flow path during an intake period during which the pump chamber is depressurized, in the first mode; to close the first flow path and open the second flow path during the discharge period in a second mode; and to open the first flow path and close the second flow path during the intake period in the second mode.

摘要: Disclosed is an automobile underbody structure, wherein a pair of laterally-spaced floor frames 10 are disposed to extend longitudinally in such a manner as to interpose a tunnel region 6 of a front floor portion 2 therebetween and joined to a bottom surface of the front floor portion 2, and a cross member 15, 16 is disposed to extend laterally so as to connect each side-sill 7 and the tunnel region 6 and joined to a top surface of the front floor portion 2. Each of the floor frames 10 is gradually inclined laterally inward toward the rear end thereof so as to be obliquely disposed relative to the cross member 15, 16 in top plan view. A rearward displacement of the floor frames 10 during a head-on collision exerts a compressive force on a region of the cross member 15, 16 located on the laterally outward side relative to each of the floor frames 10, and a tensile force on a region of the cross member 15, 16 located on the laterally inward side relative to each of the floor frames 10. The automobile underbody structure of the present invention makes it possible to effectively receive a shock during a head-on collision by the cross member.

摘要: Provided is a lubricating oil additive which is able to impart friction adjusting performance and rust preventing performance which are essential for practical use of a lubricant composed of an ionic liquid, and is dissolved or dispersed in the ionic liquid even when blended with the ionic liquid, and thus, does not inhibit performances as a base oil of the ionic liquid. The present invention relates to a synthetic lubricant including a fluorine atom-containing ionic liquid (A) as a main component, wherein the synthetic lubricant contains an imidazolium phosphate ester salt (B).
