    摘要： Plastic housing and base construction, especially for compact fluorescent lamps and operating units thereof comprising a housing (1) which is a cup-like body and a base (2) having a metal base shell (26) and at least one metal central (3) or end contact part (4, 5). The base shell (26) is electrically insulated from the central (3) or end contact parts (4, 5). The base (2) also includes a plastic insert body (20) which is open at its upper end and closed at least partially at its lower end. The diameters of the plastic insert body (20) decrease in at least one step and it has a cylindrical or slightly conical mantle portion (24) in the region of its upper end. The base shell (26) includes a thread-free opening portion (27) the inner diameter of which fits to the mantle portion (24) of and is pulled over and fixed to the plastic insert body (20). The metal central contact part (3) or each end contact part (4, 5) is fixed to the lower end of the insert body (20) which has a rim (22) at its upper end for connecting to the housing (1). The housing in turn has a connection end (11) for receiving the insert body (20).

The sensor member monitors a temperature of the cathode and mercury reservoir of the compact fluorescent lamp source in order to determine when to terminate power to the incandescent lamp source.

    摘要： An outer envelope for accommodating at least one light-emitting body and a control gear with electrical components is suggested, the outer envelope comprises a wall at least partially of a glass material, in which the glass wall of the outer envelope is covered with a coating of powder varnish of poly-ester-blocked isocyanate for uniform spherical luminous intensity distribution, protecting the envelope against mechanical shocks and providing for shatter containment. A lamp with an outer envelope for accommodating at least one light-emitting body and a control gear with electrical components is also suggested.An improved compact fluorescent lamp comprises a discharge tube arrangement, a ballast circuit, a base and a substantially bulb-shaped outer envelope. The substantially bulb-shaped outer envelope has a wall at least partially of a glass material, and comprises a substantially spherical portion enclosing at least a part of the discharge tube arrangement and an elongated end portion enclosing at least a part of the ballast circuit. The glass wall of the outer envelope is covered with a coating of powder varnish of polyester-blocked isocyanate for uniform spherical luminous intensity distribution, protecting the envelope against mechanical shocks and providing for shatter containment.

    摘要： A compact fluorescent lamp having an arc tube is disclosed. The arc tube comprises: at least a first tube part and a second tube part connected to each other through a transverse connecting tube portion including a cold spot. The lamp further comprises an outer bulb enclosing the arc tube. A clip member is adapted to clip to the connecting tube portion. The clip member is for providing heat dissipation from the cold spot and for providing resilient positioning for the arc tube along a longitudinal axis of the lamp. The clip member is comprised of: at least one gripping section adapted to clip on said connecting tube portion diametrically around, and made of a curved resilient metallic strip; at least two resilient outward tags protruding out from the gripping section in different directions for providing flexible support on an inner surface portion of the outer bulb. The outward tags are made of metal and having contacting sections for sprung contact onto the inner surface portion of the outer bulb.

    摘要： A client system, such as a computer or a smartphone, securely exchanges sensitive information with a remote service provider computer system such as a bank or an online retailer. The client system executes a commercially available operating system in an untrusted virtual machine (VM), which may be affected by malware. A hypervisor is configured to launch a trusted, malware-free VM from an authenticated image stored on computer-readable media used by the untrusted VM. The trusted VM executes a thin operating system with minimal functionality, to manage a secure communication channel with the remote server system, wherein sensitive communication is encrypted. Data from the trusted VM is forwarded via the hypervisor to a network interface driver of the untrusted VM for transmission to the remote service provider. The service provider may perform a remote attestation of the client system to determine whether it operates a trusted VM.
