    摘要: In a method of and apparatus for split photometry, a plurality of split photometric areas are established by setting a plurality of horizontal and vertical photometric intervals respectively within intervals in a horizontal scanning direction and a vertical scanning direction of the solid-state electronic image sensing device. An extracted luminance-signal component is integrated over a horizontal integration interval designated by an integration control signal. Integrated values obtained by the integration operation are summed, in every split photometric area, over the corresponding vertical photometric interval, and a photometric value is calculated for every split photometric area based upon the value obtained by summing the integrated values in another embodiment, data for controlling exposure or controlling the focusing of an image pick-up lens can be obtained for each of a plurality of blocks set in a photographic area. From data representing the image of a subject, a luminance signal is generated and converted into digital luminance data which is applied to a gate array. The luminance data is summed block by block in the gate array and the summed data is outputted in block units. Only the necessary data is selected from the summed luminance data of every block and a photometric value is calculated. A diaphragm and an electronic shutter is controlled based upon the photometric value calculated. A high-frequency component signal for focusing control can be calculated for each and every block in a similar manner.

    摘要: An analog/digital converting circuit necessary for recording processing is also used when exposure control is performed employing digital image data. A gamma corrector circuit 10 capable of being changed over between a gamma-correction characteristic and a linearly proportional characteristic in response to depression of a two-stage shutter release button is provided. When exposure control is carried out, changeover of the gamma-corrector circuit 10 is controlled in such a manner that the input/output characteristic of the circuit will be a linearly proportional characteristic. When exposure control is performed, a b terminal of a changeover switch 14 is connected to the A/D converting circuit 13 so that a photometric value is calculated using circuits 15, 16, and 17. When processing for recording image data is executed, changeover of the gamma-corrector circuit 10 is controlled is such a manner that the output signal thereof takes on the value of the input signal raised to the 0.45 power, and an a terminal of the changeover switch 14 connected to the A/D conversion circuit 13. The image data is recorded on a memory card 40 using circuits 31, 32, 33 and 34.

    摘要: The printer receives image data representing multiple images from a storage medium and produces an index print, on which thumbnail pictures representing the images are arranged in the form of a matrix. While looking at the index print, a user selects a desired picture and puts a mark on the index print with a pen, etc. at a position corresponding to the selected picture. The marked index print is inserted into the printer through a paper feeding inlet, and photo-reflectors detect the position of the mark while the index print is transported by means of a transport system, which is also used during the printing. The picture selected by the user is determined with the detected position of the mark, and the image corresponding to the selected picture is printed in a full-size.

    摘要: A magnetic recording/reproducing device which has a track search function to discriminate a recorded track from an unrecorded track for all tracks formed in a magnetic disc. In the magnetic recording/reproducing device, in accordance with signals output from a magnetic head when the magnetic head is moved to positions lying at least adjacent to the central position of a track accessed, with a predetermined position on the magnetic disc designated as a reference position, it is determined whether each accessed track is a recorded track or an unrecorded track. Data representing the check results are stored in memory corresponding to the track numbers respectively given to the tracks. This assures an accurate track search.

During reproduction, the frames recorded in the sequential photograph mode are reproduced at a sequential photograph speed corresponding to the sequential photograph speed of the recording as set forth by the data signals.

    摘要: A magnetic recording or reproducing apparatus in which a magnetic head is projected beyond a regulation level of a rotating sheet of magnetic recording medium against the sheet for magnetic recording or playback. The apparatus includes a driver unit for driving the sheet in steady rotation, a sensor device for sensing the rotational speed of the sheet, a head transport mechanism for transporting the magnetic head radially across a recording surface of the sheet, and control circuitry for controlling the driver unit, sensor device and head transport mechanism for causing the magnetic head to be transported to a desired one of tracks of the sheet for effecting tracking. The control circuitry, when the apparatus is powered on, causes the driver unit to rotate the sheet, and inhibiting the head transport mechanism from transporting the magnetic head until the rotational speed of the sheet sensed by the sensor device reaches a predetermined value.
