摘要： A method for manufacturing cylindrical inductively heatable aerosol generating articles includes: (i) supplying a plurality of cylindrical aerosol generating articles to a plurality of first receiving portions of a first transfer unit; (ii) supplying a plurality of inductively heatable susceptor elements to a second receiving portion of a second unit; (iii) aligning a longitudinal direction of the first receiving portions and a longitudinal direction of the second receiving portion; and (iv) sequentially positioning one of the inductively heatable susceptor elements in each of the cylindrical aerosol generating articles by sequentially moving each of the cylindrical aerosol generating articles supplied to the first receiving portions and the inductively heatable susceptor elements supplied to the second receiving portion relative to each other. An apparatus for performing the method is also described.

摘要： An electronic cigarette includes an inhaler body and a removable cartridge, the inhaler body having a power unit and a cartridge seating. The cartridge seating includes a cavity arranged to receive the cartridge in a retained position within the cavity in which the cartridge is electrically connected to the power unit. The electronic cigarette further includes a mechanical retaining arrangement having a first retaining element located on the cartridge and a second retaining element located on an inner side wall of the cavity, the retaining elements configured to engage when brought into alignment as the cartridge is inserted into the cavity. The retaining arrangement is shaped such that an insertion force is required to move the retaining elements into engagement, the insertion force sufficient to cause a contact between opposing surfaces of the cartridge and cartridge seating which produces an audible signal when the cartridge moves into the retained position.

摘要： A liquid refill system includes a liquid reservoir portion of an electronic cigarette and a refilling bottle. The refillable reservoir portion has a refillable liquid store, an axially moveable valve closing member and a first biasing member. The refillable liquid store has an opening in a bottom portion and the axially moveable valve closing member is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The first biasing member is configured to bias the axially moveable valve closing member towards the closed position to seal the liquid opening. The axially moveable valve closing member is moved into the open position when the refillable reservoir portion is engaged with the refilling bottle. The refilling bottle has a liquid tank 92 and a liquid transfer arrangement configured to transfer liquid from the liquid tank to the refillable liquid store in the in the electronic cigarette.
