Abstract: An engineered wood based siding, cladding or panel with a pre-consolidated fines layer (PCF) applied to the top of the main strand matrix layers to minimize telegraphing and provide an improved surface appearance. The PCF is consolidated prior to application to the surface of the strand matrix or mat, and takes the place of a loose fines layer. The PCF prevents the loss of fines into the strand matrix, effectively keeping the fines at the surface so they can effectively and efficiently function to prevent or eliminate strand telegraphing, and provide a smooth finished surface for the product.

Abstract: Tapes and methods including an unbacked construction of at least one liquid layer adhesive that has been at least one of dried and cured. Occlusive tissue dressings, tapes and methods including an elastomeric drape and, for backed drapes and some unbacked drapes, a liquid component, at least partially cross-linked at least after one of drying and curing, suitable for application at a dressing-to-skin interface in order to create a substantially air-tight seal. The same or a different liquid component may be applied by a user at a tube-to-dressing interface of an elastomeric drape to create a similar air-tight seal around the tube, if not occlusively sealed during its manufacture. Abstract: Vented weather resistant barrier panels are disclosed that facilitate the removal of volatile organic compounds or other gases. The vented weather resistant barrier panels have a panel with a first side formed with a plurality of channels and covered with a non-perforated barrier to form a flow path. In some embodiments, the barrier is formed from a foil layer and a carrier layer. When installed on a structure, the vented weather resistant barrier panels form a flow path from inside the wall of the structure, through the channels, and through a first or second end of each channel to allow for ventilation of the structure. Methods of ventilating a structure using vented weather resistant barrier panels and of manufacturing vented weather resistant barrier panels are also disclosed.

Abstract: A pipe insulation product including a core of insulating material and a laminate surrounding the core and bonded to the core. Abstract: The invention features a reinforcement element including a continuous paper strip having a first side and a second side, a first adhesive composition disposed on at least one of the first side and second side.
The invention further features a paper reinforced tape including a continuous paper strip, a continuous paper backing layer and a first adhesive composition disposed between the continuous paper strip and the continuous paper backing layer thereby adhering the continuous paper strip to the continuous paper backing layer.
The paper reinforced tapes and reinforcement elements of this invention have improved repulpability, recyclability, compostability and biodegradability. Further, these reinforcement elements and paper reinforced tapes, despite being predominately paper, unexpectedly provide excellent container reinforcement properties and further can be used as opening tapes, closing tapes and carrying handles.
