    摘要: A plasma display panel includes a substrate which includes first and second substrates disposed facing each other, a plurality of discharge electrodes disposed along a circumference of a discharge cell formed between the first and second substrates, a dielectric wall which buries the discharge electrodes, and a secondary electron emission amplifying unit which emits the secondary electrons into the discharge space and which is formed on at least a portion of a surface which contacts plasma generated in the discharge space during a discharge. The discharge voltage can be reduced due to an increase in the emission of the secondary electrons.

The second barrier rib members are formed to different widths according to discharge cell color such that red, green, and blue discharge cells have different volumes.

The non-discharge regions are formed in areas encompassed by discharge cell abscissas and ordinates passing through centers of the discharge cells. Further, the discharge cells are formed such that ends thereof increasingly decrease in width as a distance from centers of the discharge cells is increased. The discharge sustain electrodes include bus electrodes that extend perpendicular to the address electrodes and outside areas of the discharge cells but across areas of the non-discharge regions, and protrusion electrodes formed extending from each of the bus electrodes.
