摘要： A plug connector is provided for mating with a jack connector. The plug connector includes a base and a tubular member extending from the base. The tubular member includes a contact area, a terminal end composed of a conductive material and being distal to the base and a spring. The terminal end is insulated from the contact area and may have a circumferential groove located thereon. A core may be disposed within the tubular member and has an insulative material disposed about at least one signal conductor. A jack connector is also provided for receiving, for example, the foregoing plug connector and the jack connector includes a body which has a cavity and a first plurality of electrical contacts disposed within the cavity and configured to be engageable with the tubular member. A second plurality of electrical contacts may also be disposed within the cavity and are also configured to be engageable with the tubular member.

摘要： An RCA plug connector includes an annular outer ground sleeve, an insulating ring within the sleeve, and an elongated signal probe member having an exterior spring, including a plurality of circumferentially spaced bowed portions extending from within the insulating ring along the central axis. The connector has an elongated base having front and back ends, a throughbore, and a counterbore at the front end. The probe is a rigid, elongated core having a back end within the base and a front end extending from the base along the axis. The spring surrounds the core, with a front end adjacent the front end of the core and a back end adjacent the back end of the core. The ground sleeve has a back end situated in the counterbore at the front end of the base, rigidly engaging the base, and a front end that projects forward from the front end of the base. The insulating ring is situated within and rigidly engages the sleeve. The insulating ring also supports the core and the spring member, preferably by means of a front portion intimately molded over the back end of the core member and the back end of the spring member. The ring has a back portion including a bore coaxially aligned with the through bore of the base such that the audio cable is insertable therein from the back of the base.

摘要： A capo for use with a stringed, musical instrument includes an L-shaped housing having a fixed arm, a swing arm pivotably mounted to the housing and being spaced apart from the fixed arm, a ratchet and pinion gear assembly and a pawl assembly. The swing arm is moveable relative to the fixed arm to change the spacing between the arms. The ratchet and pinion gear assembly includes a pinion gear and a ratchet wheel co-axially mounted together on and rotatable with respect to the housing. The swing arm includes a toothed end portion which is engaged by the pinion gear. The pawl assembly includes a pawl pivotably mounted on the housing and a spring engaging the pawl and biasing it such that it contacts the ratchet wheel unless disengaged by the user. The pawl prevents rotation of the ratchet wheel and the pinion gear in at least one direction when it engages the ratchet wheel.

摘要： A two ply, synthetic drumhead for use in hand drums is created by using a laser to precisely remove excess material in the form of V-shaped notches from the peripheral portion of each layer disc of drumhead material prior to bonding and forming the drumhead sheet. After removal of the excess material, each layer disc has a peripheral edge consisting of equal size finger-like projections alternating with V-shaped notches. The layers are positioned so that the notches of one layer are covered by the projections of the other layer, producing a finished drumhead having a uniform exterior appearance and feel. The drumhead is tuned to duplicate the sound of a natural skin drumhead by positioning a damping element between the layer discs prior to bonding and assembly.
