    摘要: Printing stock for use in making a sign that includes a face sheet and a backing sheet. The sign is formed, for example, by overlapping a plurality of sheets of the printing stock, with the sheets arranged in a pattern to form a desired image of the sign. In a number of embodiments, the sheets of printing stock may be received through and printed on by a small-office, home-office (SOHO) printer. In other embodiments, the sheets of printing stock are of standard size for use with SOHO printers, i.e., A4, 8½×11 inches, and legal size. The face sheet includes a printing surface for receiving ink and an adhesive surface for receiving the backing sheet. The face includes a face cut forming a margin and a face sub-sheet such that at least a portion of the margin is separable from the face sub-sheet. The backing sheet may include a backing cut forming a border and a backing sub-sheet such that at least a portion of the border is separable from the backing sub-sheet so that at least a portion of the adhesive surface of the face sheet is exposable. The face may include a plurality of registration marks for enabling the face sub-sheet from one sheet of printing stock that is separated from at least a portion of the margin thereof to be positioned with respect to the face sub-sheet from another sheet of printing stock.

    摘要: A sign kit includes a plurality of print stock sheets, a substrate, and a support stake. The print stock sheets each include a face sheet and a backing sheet. The face sheet has an image surface configured to have an image imprinted thereon, and a back surface having a layer of adhesive applied thereto and a release coating adhered to the layer of adhesive. The substrate has a first side, a second side, and an outer peripheral edge between the first and second sides, and is adapted to have one or more of the print stock sheets adhesively and removably mounted thereon. Alignment indicia are disposed on at least the substrate first side. The alignment indicia are arranged to facilitate alignment of each adhesive backed sheet mounted on the substrate first surface. The support stake has a first end configured to be inserted into the substrate via the substrate outer peripheral edge, and a second end configured to insert into a support surface.

    摘要: A technique provides secure access to a set of credentials within a data storage system. The technique involves obtaining a unique identifier (e.g., a hostname which is unique to the system) and a set of stable values (e.g., machine-generated codes which are random to users of the system); and, in response to a storage request from a client application, storing a set of credentials of the client application within a data security mechanism of the data storage system. The set of credentials is in encrypted form when stored within the data security mechanism of the data storage system. The technique further involves configuring the data security mechanism of the data storage system to provide the set of credentials in non-encrypted form in response to new fingerprints matching a system fingerprint which is formed at least in part from the unique identifier and the set of stable values.

The method includes providing a shaft, a sensor, a processor, an energy storage device, and a transmitter. The method further includes mounting the sensor directly on the shaft and mounting said processor, said energy storage device, and said transmitter to rotate with said shaft. The method further includes rotating the shaft and waking the processor for a period of time and drawing energy to the processor from the energy storage device to provide the processor in an active mode during the period of time. The method also includes sampling the sensor during the period of time. It also includes returning the processor to sleep mode. The method also includes transmitting data derived from the sensor.
