According to the invention, the element (4) attached to the camshaft (2) is arranged so as to penetrate axially through the element (3) attached to the crankshaft and comprises a free end (8) outside of the device (1), on which free end (8) is arranged a sealed locking element which is connected hydraulically to one or more of the pressure chambers (5, 6) of the device (1) while being axially displaceable on an axial guide (9), and with which locking element, when the pressure of the hydraulic medium falls below a pressure required for displacing the adjusting element (7) of the device, a non-rotatable force transmission connection between the element (3) attached to the crankshaft and the element (4) attached to the camshaft (2) in one or more angular positions thereof relative to each other can be established independently of the adjusting element (7) with the help of an auxiliary energy.

The apparatus has at least one pressure space, which are each divided into two pressure chambers acting counter to one another. The apparatus has a plurality of pressure medium channels, via which pressure medium is fed to or led away from the pressure chambers. Additionally, the apparatus has a plurality of rotational-angle limitation devices assuming an unlocked and locked state. The locking states are set by the supply of pressure medium to or discharge of pressure medium from the respective rotational-angle limitation apparatus. Furthermore, a method for controlling an apparatus for variable setting of control times of gas exchange valves of an internal combustion engine is disclosed.

摘要： A device for changing the timing of valves in an internal combustion engine which includes a crankshaft-coupled component and a camshaft-coupled component is provided. The camshaft-coupled component is hydraulically rotatable and lockable with respect to the crankshaft-coupled component for relative rotation or hydraulic clamping of the camshaft (5) with respect to the crankshaft. Movement of hydraulic fluid to and from the device proceeds via a hydraulic-fluid adapter on the device's axial side facing away from the camshaft, against which adapter is additionally positioned an impulse-sending wheel for determining the camshaft position. The hydraulic-fluid adapter includes a diametrically expanded end flange which simultaneously forms the impulse-sending wheel of the device and, together with a washer positioned between the hydraulic-fluid adapter and the camshaft-coupled component that is likewise diametrically enlarged with respect to the hydraulic-fluid adapter, acts as the axial bearing of the camshaft.

摘要： The invention relates to a locking unit for a device for modifying the timing of charge change valves of an internal combustion engine, especially for a vane-cell control device. Said device (1) comprises a drive wheel (3) presenting a hollow space (8) and connected to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine in a driving manner. The device also comprises an impeller (9) which has at least one vane (13) and is connected to the camshaft (2) in a non-rotating manner. At least one working chamber (20), which is divided by a vane (13) into two hydraulic pressure chambers (21, 22), is formed by intermediate walls (16) in the hollow space (8) of the drive wheel (3). When the pressure chambers (21, 22) are subjected to pressure by means of a hydraulic pressure medium they cause the impeller (9) to pivot in relation to the drive wheel (3). When there is no pressure in one of the two pressure chambers (21, 22) the impeller (9) and the drive wheel (3) are mechanically coupled to each other. According to the invention the mechanical coupling between the impeller (9) and the drive wheel (3) of the device (1) can be achieved by means of at least one radially movable vane (13) of the impeller (9) which is configured as both an impeller pivoting element and a locking element.

According to the invention there are fixed in axial direction of the camshaft (3), on a camshaft-remote end of the element (7) attached to the camshaft, firstly a cylindrical pressure medium adapter (10) for pressure medium supply to the device (5) and secondly, a pulse emitter wheel (19) for determining the camshaft position relative to the crankshaft position, the pressure medium adapter (10) being sealingly surrounded by a hollow cylindrical portion (22) and the pulse emitter wheel (19) being surrounded by a further hollow space (23) formed adjacent to the hollow cylindrical housing portion (22) by a housing cap (21) which is fixed on the cylinder head (1) of the internal combustion engine and in which there are also received the control valve (25) for actuating the adjusting element of the device (5) as well as the necessary pressure medium channels (26, 27) and a pulse reading device (20) which cooperates with the pulse emitter wheel (19).
