    摘要: The pre-filled single-use hypodermic devices must be provided with a needle cap device (1) during storage for protection of the injector needle (4) and the contents of the hypodermic device which is removed prior to use. The two-part needle cap device (1) includes a plastic outer casing (5) of hard elastic transparent material which is provided inside with a lining member (6) sealing the tip of the injector needle and made from a soft elastic material. The injector head (2) and the plastic outer casing (5) have a coupling device for making a mechanical stable form-fitting connection and/or a positive-locking connection with a reliable microbiological seal when the injector head (2) is inserted in the outer casing (5). This coupling device is formed by elements on or features of the injector head (2) and outer casing (5). The needle cap according to the invention permits a drop-free removal since the injector head and the form of the needle cap cooperate with and conform to each other so that the tip of the needle injector is released from the lining member (6) only when a pressure inside the outer casing corresponds to the external air pressure.

The rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) is provided with a pore-free sealed surface that facilitates sterilization. Second openings (20), which are smaller than the first opening (2) and cannot receive the containers, are also provided in the carrier plate to facilitate sterilization in an autoclave.

The silicone lubricant layer (3) is made by a method including preparing a mixture of reactive silicone oil and non-reactive silicone oil, applying this mixture to the interior surface at a temperature of at least 40° C. in a single step without activation of the surface to form a preliminary layer and cross-linking the reactive silicone oil in the preliminary layer to form the silicone lubricant layer.

    摘要: Medical cannulas are typically provided with a silicone coating to improve incision performance. In order to produce a thin, continuous and even coating layer, silicone oil is provided at one side of an elastic foil and the foil is penetrated by the uncoated cannula from an opposite side. During this operation the cannula is wetted by the silicone oil. During withdrawal of the cannula from the foil, excess silicone oil is removed from the cannula and an even, particle-free thin coating which has no bulge- or bead-forming tendency during incision is obtained. Subsequently, the silicone coating is dried.

    摘要: A cap of a closure arrangement of a prefilled disposable syringe is only removed in advance of utilizing the syringe. The disposable syringe has a syringe body (2, 3) and an injection needle (4) integrated in this body. The closure arrangement includes a stiff plastic cap (5) pushed onto the syringe head (2) and includes a lining (6) in the interior thereof which seals the needle tip. In another syringe type without integrated needle, a connecting cone of a conical connection is formed on the syringe body. The closure arrangement includes an elastomeric closure cap (tip-cap) seated on the connecting cone. The closure cap is covered by a stiff plastic cap connected to the syringe body. In both types of disposable syringes, the plastic cap is welded or cemented while forming a desired break location (7) with the syringe body (2, 3).
