摘要: A glass bottle (1) fitted with a narrowed neck (2) which can be filled under pressure with chiefly a medically active substance sprayable by aerosol and with a propellant and which exhibits an opening which may be closed using a dosage valve (5). This glass bottle (1) has a sprayed-on synthetic coating (4) to protect it against shattering and splintering, preventing the user from being injured by the broken bottle. To substantially enhance this safety, the neck (2) of the bottle (1) has been fitted with a bulge like edge (3) at the opening which is also coated with the synthetic material (4) and onto which the dosage valve (5) is mechanically attached by turning. Furthermore, the coating (4) consists of an elastic synthetic material with pronounced increased shrinkage properties used for the summoning of pre-stressing force on the glass body (1) and it exhibits several hole-like pressure relieving openings (7) permitting rapid pressure release in case of shattering.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for administering substances at overpressure. The device includes a pressure vessel made of glass and containing a substance to be discharged from the pressure vessel and at least one propellent. The pressure vessel has an opening and an actuable discharge element mounted on the pressure vessel in the opening for releasing the substance from the pressure vessel. A self-supporting housing encloses the pressure vessel and at least a portion of the discharge element to prevent splinters of glass and the discharge element from being propelled away from the device in the event that the pressure vessel bursts. The self-supporting housing has a lower portion made of transparent plastic to facilitate viewing the substance in the pressure vessel.

摘要: A gripping strip for prefilled disposable syringes having a syringe cylinder. The gripping strip has a gripping strip element formed as a separate synthetic plastic part fixedly mountable on the syringe cylinder, a plate-shaped abutment provided on the gripping strip element and having a hollow cylindrical receptacle with an outer diameter which is adapted to be smaller than an inner diameter of the syringe cylinder, arresting elements provided in a region of an outer surface of the gripping strip element for mounting with the syringe cylinder in a complimentary inner undercut of the syringe cylinder, a safety ring insertable in an interior of the receptacle for maintaining a working connection, the safety ring being connected with the interior of the receptacle of one piece through locations of desired breakage in an unsecured position, so that during placing the syringe cylinder over the receptacle it is displaceable into a securing position. The receptacle has an outer surface which is formed of peripheral portions with gaps therebetween, the arresting elements being arranged in the gaps for a form-locking operative connection with the inner undercut of the syringe cylinder.

摘要: The glass container stores and preserves pharmaceutical or diagnostic solutions for medicinal purposes. So that the container is free of silicones and other residues, it is provided with an amorphous, transparent anti-adherent coating (4) over its entire interior surface from its bottom over the wall (3) to the closure device (2). This anti-adherent coating (4) is free of heavy metals, free of silicones, is stable after autoclaving at about 120° C. for about 20 min or hot air sterilization for 30 min at 300° C., has a contact angle for wetting with water of ≧80°, contains silicon, oxygen, carbon, fluorine and hydrogen and is deposited by a PECVD method, especially a PICVD method. If the coating contains less than 0.1% by weight fluorine, then it contains greater than or equal to 10% by weight carbon, but if it contains greater than or equal to 0.1% fluorine then it contains greater than or equal to 5% by weight carbon.

摘要: The pre-filled single-use hypodermic devices must be provided with a needle cap device (1) during storage for protection of the injector needle (4) and the contents of the hypodermic device which is removed prior to use. The two-part needle cap device (1) includes a plastic outer casing (5) of hard elastic transparent material which is provided inside with a lining member (6) sealing the tip of the injector needle and made from a soft elastic material. The injector head (2) and the plastic outer casing (5) have a coupling device for making a mechanical stable form-fitting connection and/or a positive-locking connection with a reliable microbiological seal when the injector head (2) is inserted in the outer casing (5). This coupling device is formed by elements on or features of the injector head (2) and outer casing (5). The needle cap according to the invention permits a drop-free removal since the injector head and the form of the needle cap cooperate with and conform to each other so that the tip of the needle injector is released from the lining member (6) only when a pressure inside the outer casing corresponds to the external air pressure.

摘要: A metering receptacle has an elongate hollow body which at one end has a closable exit opening, and which at the other end is closable by way of a plastic plunger stopper. The plunger stopper is at the same time longitudinally displaceable in the hollow body by way of a plunger rod. The metering receptacle is configured such that the plunger stopper is formed of two parts, with a sealing stopper part of plastic which is rigidly positionable in the elongate hollow body and has a centric bore for the passage of the plunger rod, and with a longitudinally displaceable plunger part of lubricious plastic which is connected to the plunger rod.

摘要: The device for transporting, filling and sterilizing medicinal containers (3) includes a rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) provided with a plurality of first openings (2) for receiving the respective containers (3). The first openings have respective open cross-sections adapted to corresponding cross-sections of the containers and the rigid carrier plate (1) has a predetermined thickness, so that the containers (3) are clamped and held fixed in position relative to the carrier plate and centered in the first openings (2) without rattling so that no scratch marks and/or no static charges are produced on the medicinal containers (3) during transport. The rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) is provided with a pore-free sealed surface that facilitates sterilization. Second openings (20), which are smaller than the first opening (2) and cannot receive the containers, are also provided in the carrier plate to facilitate sterilization in an autoclave.
