摘要: A system for providing more efficient insulation for heating and air conditioning ducts is disclosed. Specifically, a system comprising one or more layers of light-weight, rigid spacers made of non-conductive material attached over an air duct, is disclosed. The spacers contain air channels or air spacers, and can be pre-attached to the air duct prior to installation of the duct. The air duct/spacer combination is wrapped with reflective insulation material.

Specifically, a rectangular box having a top, bottom, angled back, and sides, but open on the front, and having openings on the top through which the line set, condensation drain and low voltage wires can be passed, is disclosed. The receptacle box is mounted in a cutout on the exterior wall of the building before siding is installed.

摘要: A disposable apparatus for straining food or other material is disclosed. Specifically, a strainer or colander made from a disposable material for convenient and limited use is disclosed. The strainer can be in any shape such as the shape of a bowl, box or triangular shaped vessel with holes or slots in the sides and/or bottom to allow liquids or flowable powders to pass through. The strainer is ideally made from an inexpensive, disposable material suitable for limited use and then discarded. Preferably, the material may also be capable of being rinsed one or several times. The strainer of this invention is also designed to be stackable or nest-packed, much in the manner of coffee filters.

摘要: A multi-dimensional adjustable device for use in training skiers is disclosed. The ski training device of the present invention provides a horizontal support bar having a cushioned proximal end for comfortably engagement with a skier's chest and an opposite, distal end which can be gripped by a ski instructor. Specifically, a pair of adjustable upward-facing handles is positioned on the support bar to be gripped by the skier after the width between the handles is adjusted in accordance with the width of the skier's shoulders, and after the pair of handles is adjustably positioned along the length of said support bar in accordance with the length of the skier's arms. In this manner, skier leans forward in a proper skiing position. The distal end of the support bar provides a hand grip for the instructor. Also, an additional grip is adjustably positioned near the distal end, which provides an alternative grip for the instructor. In use, the skier is guided by a trained ski instructor or individual who directs the learning skier into turns, stops, and starts, while the skier is leaning forward, and properly faces the skier downhill in the “fall line” direction.

摘要: A flexible disk for securely holding insulation to an air duct made from a resilient material, and having a convex upper surface and a diameter of from 1.5 inches to 4.0 inches. A washer for receiving a disk fastener is centrally positioned in the disk top, which is thicker than the top. A rim is located at the circumference of the top which has a planar bottom for contacting the insulation. When the disk is properly attached to an air duct by a fastener, it deforms to a concave configuration by which it resiliently exerts force on the underside surface of the disk and the rim which in turn presses downward on the insulation, securely holding the insulation in place without crushing the insulation.

摘要: An improved magnetic induction lighting fixture for wide area lighting and other uses is disclosed. The magnetic lighting fixture of the present invention provides a tubular magnetic induction lamp in a lighting fixture which provides maximum light dispersion from the fixture, wherein the light dispersion and focal distance are adjustable depending on the application. Specially, the lighting fixture integrates an assembly containing the tubular magnetic induction bulb into a housing unit having a primary reflector element at the center of the housing that is specifically configured for the geometry of the magnetic induction bulb. The internal surface of the housing constitutes a secondary reflector, providing a high-efficiency reflection surface which, together with the primary reflector, provides for maximum reflection and focus of the light produced by the magnetic induction bulb. The lighting fixture further incorporates a mechanism for raising or lowering the magnetic bulb assembly within the fixture in proportion to the primary reflector element and the secondary reflector surface, providing the capability of varying or adjusting the focal length of the fixture light beam as well as disbursing the light in varying patterns.
