摘要： A drive axle assembly for an all-wheel drive vehicle includes an adaptively controlled first hydraulic coupling for providing front-to-rear torque transfer control to a first wheel and an adaptively controlled second hydraulic coupling for providing front-to-rear torque control to a second wheel. The drive axle assembly is contained with a common housing and communicates with a traction control system to actively control actuation of the first and second hydraulic couplings based on the operating characteristics of the vehicle as detected by suitable sensors.

摘要： A package having two or more compartments that is made from a laminated flexible film is disclosed. The compartments store products having different requirements for in relation to contact of oxygen and other gases from outside the compartments or release of oxygen and other gases generated by the products in the compartments. The laminated film has different OTR or GTR levels in different sections of the film to suit the different requirements for oxygen and other gases of the products in the compartments. A method of manufacturing the package is also disclosed.

摘要： The liquid concentrator has a vacuum vessel or chamber (1) in which a required vacuum is established. Within the common vessel or chamber (1) are provided concentrator components including a feed section (2), an evaporation plus condensing/section (3), a separation area (4), a baffle arrangement (5) and a vapour compressor (6). A seal (8) may be provided for the connection between the compressor (6) and a motor (7) mounted externally of the vessel or chamber (1). In another embodiment the motor (7) may also be mounted within the vessel or chamber (1). The invention avoids the cost and complexity of providing separate vacuum seals for each of the concentrator components.

摘要： A shift fork/gate assembly is provided for use in a manual transmission of the type including a gear train having a plurality of gears disposed thereon and a shift control assembly for selecting one of the plurality of gears. The shift fork/gate assembly includes a shift fork member engaging a synchronizer device along the gear train. A gate member is connected to the fork member by inserting a portion of the gate member into an aperture formed in the fork member. The gate member selectively cooperates with a blocker of the shift control assembly to selectively prevent movement of the shift fork member until the shift control assembly is properly aligned.
