    摘要: A limited slip differential assembly for a vehicle has a differential assembly drivingly engaged with a prime mover of the vehicle. The assembly has a differential mechanism disposed in a differential case and two opposite output shafts outwardly extending from the differential case. A torque coupling unit is provided for selectively restricting rotation between one of the output shafts and the differential case. The torque coupling unit has a friction clutch assembly disposed about one of the output shafts. The friction clutch assembly has a first portion drivingly engaged with one of the output shafts and a second portion drivingly engaged with the differential case. A ball and ramp assembly is disposed adjacent the friction clutch assembly for selectively frictionally loading the friction clutch assembly.

    摘要: A hybrid vehicle is provided with a drive mechanism for transmitting torque to at least a first and a second output member as well as to such a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes, but is not limited to a torque generating drive member operably coupled to the first and second output members, a switching element operably coupled to the drive member for selectively coupling the drive member with the first and second output members either in a propulsion mode or in a vector mode. In the propulsion mode, the drive member's torque is inducted to first and second output members uni-directionally and in the vector mode, the drive member's torque is inducted to first and second output members in opposite directions.

The clutch device is comprised of: a clutch housed in and rotatable with the differential device and axially movable from a disengaged state into an engaged state; a plunger slidably fit on the differential device and being axially movable from a first position where the plunger does not force the clutch to a second position where the plunger forces the clutch into the engaged state; an anti-rotated solenoid configured to drive the plunger; and a retainer supported by the differential device and in contact with both the plunger at the first position and the solenoid, whereby the plunger is barred from going beyond the first position and the solenoid is axially positioned in place.

    摘要: A differential lock assembly includes a differential lock and a blocking assembly. The differential lock assembly is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The blocking assembly is associated with the differential lock and includes a blocking member and a shape memory member. The blocking member is movable between a blocking position and a non-blocking position. When the blocking member is in the blocking position, the differential lock is inhibited from moving to the locked position. The shape memory member is coupled with the blocking member and configured to receive an activation signal. The shape memory member is configured for actuation between a first length and a second length in response to the activation signal, wherein actuation of the shape memory member between the first length and the second length facilitates movement of the blocking member between the non-blocking and blocking positions.

    摘要: A torque vectoring device directs different torques at will to the two wheels of a drive axle on a road vehicle. It has two hydraulically controlled disc clutches, connected to a drive shaft, extending through the device, and in engaged condition intended for connecting the drive shaft to either of two gear sleeves, each in splines engagement with an eccentric tube eccentrically journaled in relation to the drive shaft, and a torque transmitting mechanism with a gear ratio of 1:1 between the eccentric tube and a differential case sleeve, coaxial with the drive shaft and forming part of a differential case of a differential on the drive axle, to which differential the torque vectoring device is connected.
