Each clamp (80) includes a body portion (85) having a spring receiving cavity (85a), a base (82) extending outwardly from a lower edge of the body portion in one direction and a rail engaging arm (88) extending outwardly from an upper edge of the body portion and in a direction opposite to the base. The body portion (85) includes a wall (86) extending at an angle from the base to the arm and defining a rail latching surface (86a). A partially compressed spring disposed (90) in the cavity (85a) exerts a selected force to hold the clamps (80) in the latched position.

    摘要: The invention relates to an electrical contact arrangement for high pulsed currents and for connection with a polygonal socket. The electrical contact arrangement includes first contact, arm, a second contact arm, an intermediate space provided between the first and second contact arms, and a third contact arm. The second contact arm positioned apart from the first contact arm in a deflection direction extending perpendicularly to the plug-in direction. The first contact arm and second contact arm extend substantially in a plug-in direction, and one of the first contact arm or second contact arm resiliently deflectable relative to the other contact arm in the deflection direction. The third contact arm extends in the plug-in direction and is positioned apart from the first contact arm and the second contact arm in a transverse direction extending perpendicularly to the plug-in and deflection directions. The cover has an actuator passageway and an angled guide projection extending into the actuator passageway for guiding an actuating tool to actuate the clamp. The angled guide projection is constructed as a web, the arcuate tension spring of the clamp has an aperture, and the angled guide projection reaches through the aperture as the cover is engaged with the lower part placed over the contact sub-assembly.

    摘要: A connector for mounting to a panel is provided with a pair of centering springs mounted on opposed ends of the connector to support platforms facing in opposed directions. The centering spring is a unitary stamped and formed sheet metal part comprising a U-shaped base section and a resilient centering section having concave portions for fitting around a cylindrical shaft of a mounting screw. Mounting off the connector to the panel is accomplished by first urging the screw cylindrical shaft between the resilient section until it is seated between the concave portion of the centering spring. The connector can then be screwed onto the panel until a bush thereof abuts the panel, thereby allowing floating movement of the connector. Movement of the connector with respect to the panel is countered by the centering spring.

    摘要: The connector comprises an insulative housing having a conductor connection section on one side of the panel and a mating section on the other side of the panel. The conductor connecting section comprises terminals arranged in two adjacent rows that are offset to provide a compact zig-zag arrangement. The terminals are separated by upstanding walls that form slots on the sides of the connector for receiving ring-tongue terminals that are clamped to the terminals by screws. To ensure a sufficient insulation between adjacent terminals, the walls must be made sufficiently long. In order to enable a compact juxtaposed assembly of connectors to a backpanel, the separating walls are slanted thereby forming a zig-zag outer profile of the connector sides such that sides of adjacent connectors interengage.
