    摘要: An ice cream sandwich preparation and storage container set with open top shells having partial bottom walls defining a central aperture. Substantially conforming with the bottom of the shell is an insert disk that effectively seals the aperture while forming a base for the ice cream and cookie sandwich. The bottom periphery of the shell is formed with a flange that fits over the upper rim of another similar container so that the bottom of one container may act as the sealing cover for an underlying container. When it is desired to consume one of the previously prepared and stored sandwiches it may be easily extracted from the container by, after removing the cover, pushing up on the insert disk through the aperture with a thumb or forefinger.

    摘要: An amusement device of the present invention comprises a bank constructed in the form of a plush doll having a coin insert aperture in the facial area, such as the mouth, leading to an internal coin receptacle. A pawl and ratchet mechanism is disposed within the doll to prevent coins inserted in the doll from completely entering the coin receptacle until the pawl and ratchet mechanism is manually activated by pushing or squeezing a predetermined area of the doll, thereby rotating a ratchet wheel to force the coins into the coin receptacle and simultaneously causing pivotal movement of a face distorting member so that it appears as if the doll is chewing the coin.

    摘要: Toy vehicle wheels are each mounted on an axle having a gear with each of the wheels having a pair of diametrically opposed arcuate segments. Each of the arcuate segments includes an inwardly extending member with each member including a rack that is kept in engagement with an opposed toothed side of the gear. A coiled spring biases the two opposed arcuate segments toward each other. With a motor driving the axle in one direction, the wheel is initially rotated with the opposed arcuate segments in a first position proximate each other until the wheel encounters an impediment that stalls rotation of the wheel so that continued rotation of the axle in one direction drives the segments away from each other. For enhancing the visual effect of the arcuate segments being moved away from each other, edges of the arcuate segments are provided with projecting parts that are obscured when the arcuate segments are in the first position proximate each other.

    摘要: A game includes the player's successive selection of matching images within a short time interval initiated by the first selection. Failure to select the proper matching image within the interval results in a mixing of the images. In an electronic video game version of the target shooting type a plurality of sets of matching targets are initially displayed. Each target has mating components. If the targets hit within the time interval do not match, components of each of the hit targets are exchanged to form a mixed target. The successively hit matched targets are removed but are replaced by another form of targets after the first rack. All of the prior form targets must be removed before the succeeding form can be removed from the screen. In still later racks, the initially displayed targets include ones with mixed components to increase the challenge. The player controls the movement of a shooter among the targets and directs the firing of projectiles at the targets. Collision of the shooter with a target ends the player's turn. A sequence of progressively closer views of a background scene that is partially shown in the distance of the present rack are included to enhance the enjoyment of the game.

    摘要: A four wheel drive toy includes a drive mechanism and two pairs of elongated movable track portions mounted on a frame, each pair of track portions including a follower gear driven through an independent gear train from the drive mechanism. An interior surface of each track portion includes an oval endless rack gear engaged by the gear follower. The orbit of the gear follower around the rack gear is made visible from the exterior of the vehicle by using flanges attached to either side of the follower gear to retain the follower gear within the interior of the track portion. The track portion pivots about the axis of the follower gear when the follower gear reaches the arcuate region of the oval rack gear.

    摘要: A counting device with ball actuated, aligned, rotatable indicating elements is disclosed that is particularly useful as a clock. The device includes a plurality of indicating elements rotatable around parallel axes, arranged side by side in three columns. Each indicating element includes a display portion and a ball actuated flange, mounted on a common axle with the flanges of adjacent elements in each column forming a ball conveying track. The elements are successively rotated to the upward display position by a ball whose continued presence atop an element's flange causes an appropriate rotation of that element. The balls are continuously recycled by a synchronous motor elevator which collects the balls at their lowest position and returns them to their highest position in communication with the ball conveying tracks. After all of the indicating elements in a column have been raised to their display position, the ball resets the first rotated element causing it to reset the adjacent elements. In this way the elements are returned to their downward position by a domino effect.

    摘要: The game is characterized by a complicated and dangerous looking bomb-like housing which is equipped with a four-by-six keyboard under a hinged transparent cover. A pair of alternately flashing red incandescent lamps illuminate the keyboard. When the cover is opened, exposing the keyboard, the lamps may begin to flash or pulsate and the rate of flashing of the lamps may be increased and a fuse sound is produced which starts out at a relatively low pitch and gradually over a preselected time period increases in pitch to the point where it is obvious that an inevitable "blowup" will occur. The object of the game is to prevent the bomb from "exploding". If the bomb does explode, the fuse sound is terminated and a loud "boom" sound is produced which decays slowly and simulates the explosion of a bomb.
