A hand-held, manually-operated sanding tool for use with a replaceable sheet-like abrasive material, such as sandpaper, includes a base member and one or more clamping mechanisms pivotally connected with opposed ends of the base member. The clamping mechanism(s) include a tensioning member arranged to slidably interface with a corresponding contact surface provided at the end of the base member to tighten the sheet-like abrasive material as it is installed on the tool. Further, the tensioning member positions a leading edge thereof so as to minimize possible harmful contact with a user's finger(s) during loading of the abrasive material.

An adhesive removal system useful for removing a stretch release adhesive from a component includes a first member that engages with a component and an adhesive removal member that moves the adhesive and component relative to each other in order to stretch the adhesive and release the adhesive from a bond surface of the component. In some embodiments, the adhesive removal member applies a substantially uniform pulling force across the adhesive. The adhesive removal member may be manually actuated by a user or with the aid of an automated device. In some embodiments, the adhesive removal system comprises a rotatable portion that moves the adhesive relative to the component. In other embodiments, the adhesive removal system includes features that enable the first member and a second member, which is mechanically coupled to at least a portion of the adhesive extending from the component, to move relative to each other.

Integrated air cap/nozzles (40), spray head assemblies (20) including the integrated air cap/nozzles (40) and liquid spray guns that include the integrated air cap/nozzles (40) are described herein. The integrated air cap/nozzles (40) provide and define both the liquid nozzle openings (52) and the center air outlets (54) for the center air of the liquid spray guns and the spray head assemblies (20). The integrated air cap/nozzles (40) can be removably attached over a liquid nozzle port (32) formed in the spray head assembly (20) and/or on the spray gun platform (10) or body using any suitable attachment mechanism.

When a service request associated with an initiated online service transaction is received, an attestation identifying a human-input activity is requested. Upon receiving a signature attesting the human-input activity, the previously initiated service transaction is authenticated based at least in part on the signature.

A method and system are provided for managing incoming transmissions. A response to an incoming transmission is generated as a function of recipient availability and information relating to the incoming transmission, such as a medium of the transmission. An indication, representative of the incoming transmission and the response, is provided to one or more recipient devices. A method and system are also provided for managing one or more transmission events, represented by notification signals, where the notification signals are processed as a function of schedule data relating to a user. Indication data is generated as a function of the notification signals and provided to one or more user-specified devices, wherein the indication data includes an identification of a type of transmission event and a representation of a response to at least one of the transmission events.

A system bus may be used as an inter-switch communications link to transfer packets between virtualized interfaces on different virtualized network interface controllers that are accessible by a plurality of virtual machines. The inter-switch communications link may also be used for advanced power management through the use of intelligent packet redirection when virtualized interfaces are lightly utilized.

A system, apparatus, method and article to perform dynamic service management for multicore processors are described. The apparatus may include, for example, a processing device having multiple types of processors to process packets. A service manager may dynamically assign executable files for multiple services to the multiple types of processors during execution of the executable files based on packets processed for each service. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
