摘要： A method and apparatus for manufacturing composite materials. In a first embodiment, a binding material is placed on a heat-resistant filter that is placed on hollow particles in a pressurizable container. Under pressure and heat, the binding material flows through the filter and infiltrates the spaces between the hollow particles. In a further embodiment, composite material wire is produced by coating the surfaces of inorganic fiber bundles with a metal oxide by dipping in a solution of a hydrolyzable organic metal compound and hydrolyzing and heat-treating prior to continuous infiltration under pressure. In a further embodiment, the apparatus includes orifices with enlarged diameter sections. In a still further embodiment, an apparatus is provided with ultrasonic vibration.

摘要： A polyolefin resin composition excellent in flame retardancy and mechanical properties and also in wearing resistance and an electric wire produced with the composition are provided.The polyolefin resin composition is characterized by containing, as a flame retardant, magnesium hydroxide particles which have a higher fatty acid bonded to part of the surface of the particles and further have a silicone oil having reactivity bonded to that part of the particles which does not have the higher fatty acid bonded thereto. The electric wire is characterized by having a sheath layer formed from the polyolefin resin composition.

摘要： A head actuator assembly comprises a plate-like suspension having a distal end portion mounting with a magnetic head, and a trace having a relay FPC attached to the suspension through a lining plate. A head IC is mounted on the relay FPC and positioned near the magnetic head. In an area which faces the head IC, insulation layers of the FPC are removed, and an opening is formed in the lining plate and suspension. A wiring pattern of the relay FPC is exposed through this opening.

摘要： In a carbon thread, vapor phase growth carbon fiber (VGCF) are dispersedly contained in a carbon matrix. The carbon thread is produced by forming a thread-like element from a mixture of VGCF and carbonizable carbon-containing compound and then by heat-treating the thread-like element to effect carbonization thereon. The thread-like element may be formed either by melt-spinning or solution-spinning the mixture, or by impregnably adhering the mixture onto a thread of heat resisting fibers. The carbonized carbon thread thus obtained may be subjected to further heat treatment to graphitize the carbon thread.

The circuit identifier 12 is made by printing or provided in the form of a mark and indicative of a connection destination of the electric wire 1. The colored marker in the end portion is made by an ink inferior to that of the circuit identifier on the intermediate portion in at least one property selected from among adhesiveness, weatherability, heat resistance, and chemical resistance.
