摘要： The present invention primarily concerns teeth cleaning compounds containing menthol for use with a toothbrush, preferably tooth pastes, tooth crèmes, tooth cleaning gels or tooth powders. Such a tooth cleaning compound according to the invention contains menthol and a quantity, for masking the bitterness of the menthol, of menthane carboxylic acid-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-amide (WS-12) of the following formula (Ia), in particular of the following formula (Ib), i.e. L-menthane carboxylic acid-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-amide. The present invention also concerns the use of menthane carboxylic acid-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-amide (WS-12) of the formulas (Ia) or (preferably) (Ib) to mask the bitter taste of menthol in a teeth cleaning compound.The present invention also concerns a method for dissolving menthane carboxylic acid-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-amide (WS-12) in a teeth cleaning compound and a method for masking the bitterness of menthol in a teeth cleaning compound.

摘要： A preparation for creating a clearing feeling in a pharyngeal cavity and nasal cavity comprising a rhinologically active substance of formula (I): In formula (I), variable x and substituents R1, R2 and R3 have the following meanings: x is 0 or 1, R1 denotes an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 denotes a methyl or ethyl group, and R3 denotes a monocyclic saturated carbon system having 5, 6, 7 or 8 carbon atoms that can be unsubstituted or substituted with further alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkenyl groups having 2 to 4 carbon atoms. The compound of formula (I) can be mixed with one or more other flavor substances or aroma substances. The preparation can be an oral care composition, such as a toothpaste or a mouth wash.
