    摘要: The electric storage device is provided with a case body and an electrode assembly accommodated in the case body. The electrode assembly includes positive and negative electrode sheets each having an active material layer. The case body includes at least one primary inner wall surface, at least one secondary inner wall surface, and corner surfaces. A plane that includes the boundary line between a primary inner wall surface and the corresponding corner surface and faces the corresponding secondary inner wall surface is defined as an imaginary boundary plane. An edge of the active material layer of a positive electrode sheet facing the corresponding secondary inner wall surface is positioned on the surface of the imaginary boundary plane, or is positioned in a region spaced further apart from the secondary inner wall surface facing the edge than the position of the imaginary boundary plane.

    摘要: An electricity storage device includes an electrode assembly such that positive and negative electrodes are alternately stacked in which the positive and negative electrodes are insulated from one another. Tab groups each including positive or negative electrode tabs bundled in the stacking direction of the electrode assembly are provided on an edge portion of the electrode assembly. The tab groups each include a first bent portion and an extending portion, which extends from the first bent portion in the stacking direction of the electrode assembly. The tab groups also each include a second bent portion at which the tab group is curved or bent such that the distal end in the extending direction of the tab that is located at an outermost position of the first bent portion is positioned between the electrode assembly and the tab that is located at an innermost position of the first bent portion.

The electrode assembly includes two tab groups in each of which tabs of the first electrodes or the second electrodes having the same polarity are bundled. The electrode terminal has a base and a polar column portion, which projects from the base and shaped to pass from the inside of the case body through the through hole and protrude to the outside. A sealing member is sandwiched between the inner surface of the lid and a seat surface of the base. In a root portion of the polar column portion coupled to the base, in at least a part of the polar column portion around an axis thereof, a tapered portion, which spreads in the cross-sectional shape toward the base along the axis of the polar column portion, is provided. The sealing member is arranged radially outside of the tapered portion.

    摘要: An electric storage device comprises the current interruption device which includes a deformable plate electrically connected to a first conductive member and a second conductive member to constitute part of a conductive path. The deformable plate deforms to interrupt the conductive path, when a pressure inside the casing rises. The first conductive member, the second conductive member, and the current interruption device are disposed between the terminal attachment wall and the electrode assembly. The first conductive member extends along the terminal attachment wall to connect the tab and the current interruption device. The second conductive member is connected to the current interruption device at a location that is farther from the terminal attachment wall than a connection between the first conductive member and the current interruption device, and extends along the terminal attachment wall to connect the current interruption device and the electrode terminal.
