Abstract: A system for providing negative-pressure therapy to breast tissue is disclosed. In some embodiments, the system may include a dressing assembly shaped for placement on a breast, an absorbent pouch, and a negative-pressure source. The system may further include an additional dressing assembly for placement on a second breast. Various shapes and configurations of the breast dressing assemblies may be included in the system.

Abstract: Methods and devices for management of fluids during skin graft transplantation are disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, absorbent substrates for transplanting skin grafts are disclosed having a surface adapted to contact at least one excised skin graft and engage said graft for removal from a donor site; a sealing member at least partially surrounding an absorbent material disposed within the enclosure; wherein at least a portion of the skin-contacting surface is porous and in fluid communication with the absorbent layer to capture fluids.

Abstract: Dressings for tissue treatment with negative pressure and methods of using the dressings for tissue treatment with negative pressure, which may comprise a dressing having at least three layers assembled in a stacked relationship. The first layer may comprise or consist essentially of a polymer film having a plurality of fluid restrictions that are normally unstrained or closed. The second layer may comprise a manifold, and the third layer may comprise or consist essentially of a polymer drape. A fourth layer, which may be coupled to the first layer opposite the second layer, may comprise or consist essentially of a silicone gel having a plurality of apertures. In some examples, the plurality of apertures in the fourth layer may be registered with the fluid restrictions of the first layer.

Abstract: Provided herein are biologically active solution compositions comprising one or more sacrificial proteolytic enzyme substrates, one or more preservatives, and one or more antimicrobial agents and methods of using the solution compositions to treat tissue sites, in particular chronic wounds. The compositions may be used in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy to treat tissue sites.
