    Abstract: A method of communicating between a primary station and a plurality of secondary stations is described. According to one aspect, the secondary station monitors a control channel search space for a control message from a primary station intended for the communication device. According to an aspect, the control message is indicative of a resource allocated to the secondary station for communicating with the primary station and the resource corresponds to a component carrier. The secondary station determines a control channel from the control channel search space having the control message intended for the secondary station and determines, based on a presence of the control channel on a specific component carrier, the indication of a resource set from a plurality of resources sets in which the resource allocated to the secondary station is located.

    Abstract: In a method for operating a secondary station in a network, the secondary station: controlling a transceiver configured for simultaneously receiving transmissions from a first primary station controlling a first cell and at least one second primary station controlling a second cell; selecting a first precoding matrix for the first cell out of a first set of precoding matrices for the first cell; selecting, depending on the first precoding matrix, in accordance with a precoding scheme, a subset out of a second set of precoding matrices for the second cell, the subset comprising at least one precoding matrix for the second cell; selecting a second precoding matrix for the at least one second cell out of the selected subset of precoding matrices; transmitting a first and second indicator representative of the respective first and second precoding matrix; wherein the second precoding matrix is based on the value of the first indicator, so that the amount of data used for transmitting the second indicator is less than the amount of data used for transmitting the first indicator.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method (1) of assigning a task to a mobile communication device (212, 222) belonging to a pool (210, 220) of mobile communication devices, wherein each mobile communications device is associated with a trusted owner and is locatable by means of location information, the method comprising generating (10) a task to be performed; generating a set of task locations at which the task can be performed; receiving (20) location information for said mobile communications devices; deriving (30) a location for each mobile communications device from said location information; using the derived location to calculate (40) a cost score for each mobile communication device, said cost score indicating the cost of the trusted owner of said mobile communication device to reach a target location; and assigning (60) the task to a selected location in said set and to one of said mobile communications devices, wherein the task is assigned to the one of said mobile communications devices based on the calculated cost scores. A computer program product including program code for executing this method on a computer processor and a system adapted to execute this method are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus (10) for patient record identification. It is described to input (210) at least one query value relating to at least one medical condition. Patient records are received (220) from a patient database. Each patient record comprises at least one attribute value relating to the at least one medical condition, and each patient record comprises information relating to an outcome of the at least one medical condition. A first set of patient records is determined (230) based on a similarity between the at least one query value input by the user and the at least one attribute value for the patient records. The first set of patient records is separated (240) into patient records relating to a positive outcome for the at least one medical condition and into patient records relating to a negative outcome for the at least one medical condition. An implemented model calculates (250) at least one outcome probability for the at least one medical condition for each patient record of the first set of patient records based on the at least one attribute value for each patient record of the first set of patient records.     Abstract: The invention discloses a system configured for assessing performance data, the system comprising a memory comprising instruction data representing a set of instructions; and a processor configured to communicate with the memory and to execute the set of instructions. The set of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: acquire a plurality of performance data records associated with a performance indicator; classify each performance data record according to the performance indicator; identify a plurality of variables in the performance data records that contribute to the classifications; determine, based on the plurality of variables, a plurality of observations relating to the performance indicator and at least one variable of the plurality of variables; and deliver the plurality of observations for presentation to a user. A method is also disclosed.
