    摘要: One or more electromagnetic energy measurements are generated. Each of these measurements corresponds to an available communications bandwidth for a communications device and indicates a frequency of a radio frequency (RF) signal source. From these measurement(s), one or more interference sources are identified. These measurements may include a series of electromagnetic energy measurements over a predetermined time period. An interference source may be identified when each measurement in the series of electromagnetic energy measurements indicates an RF energy source at the same frequency. Each of these measurements may be stored. In addition, statistics regarding these measurements may be generated.

    摘要: The present invention relates to systems and methods for a implementing an optimized power conservation communication protocol, wherein the communication link is flexible and the power consumption characteristics are optimized. One facet of the system's flexibility relates to the system's ability to negotiate device control roles associated with a polling communication link. Also, once the device control roles are in place and the communication link is established, the system selectively implements a number of polling protocols for a multitude of applications that need a low power consumption. In some embodiments the system maintains a communication link with a reduced frequency polling protocol. This type of communication link maintains efficient power consumption characteristics, as well as, connection times that are faster than establishing a communication link between disconnected devices.

    摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for facilitating device discovery so as to consume less power with reduced channel occupancy. In regards to a method implemented by a master device, a scan for an advertisement is caused to be performed and an advertisement packet is received during the scan that defines a time period in which the source device of the advertisement packet will be performing a page scan. The method also determines the time period in which the source device of the advertisement packet will be performing the page scan. The method also causes a page to be issued during the time period in which the source device of the advertisement packet will be performing the page scan, and then receives a page response in response to the page.     摘要: The invention relates to a method and to a modulator for modulating signals. The signals are to be transmitted by a device in packets via an air interface. Each packet is supposed to comprise at least one entity of at least two different entities, which different entities are employed for transmitting signals representing different kinds of information. In order to enable a higher data rate, signals that are to be transmitted in at least one of said different entities are modulated with a first set of values of at least one modulation parameter of a selected modulation scheme. Further, signals that are to be transmitted in at least one other of said different entities are modulated with a second set of values of said at least one modulation parameter, said second set of values comprising less values than said first set of values.
