摘要: Synthetic resin structural members are inserted into a hollow joint member to abut each other in the joint member. A bearing-pressure damping member is fitted into each of bolt holes on the members, axes of bolts extend alternately in two mutually perpendicular directions. The structural members and the hollow joint member are secured with bolts and nuts. Due to damping action resulting from elastic deformations of the damping members, a load is substantially evenly distributed over the whole bolts to prevent concentration of the load to some of the bolts. The arrangement of the bolts with their axes extending alternately in two mutually perpendicular directions will shorten the length of the joint member.

摘要: Contacts are formed by a metal injection molding method using metallic fine particle powder as the material therefor. The contacts have a substantially rectangular base portion and an elastic arm that extends upward from one end of an upper surface of the base portion, supported in a cantilever fashion. The portion where the arm is attached to the base or a fixed end portion, has a comparatively large rectangular cross section. The cross sectional area gradually decreases toward the distal end of the arm. An electrical contact tip is formed at the distal end of the arm.

摘要: A connector including a housing having a first surface and a plurality of first bores extending from the first surface for respectively receiving coaxial pins. 摘要: In an intake system having a bypass passage for introducing auxiliary air to the engine, a base amount of auxiliary air is first determined according to the engine operating condition. A target idling speed is calculated according to the engine temperature and the engine load and the target idling speed is compared with the actual engine speed. The base amount of auxiliary air is corrected according to the difference between the target idling speed and the actual engine speed, thereby obtaining a final target amount of auxiliary air. The control amount of the control valve is determined according to the final target amount of auxiliary air referring the final target amount of auxiliary air to the output characteristics of the control valve. Then the control valve is driven on the basis of the control amount.

摘要: This invention has for an object thereof the provision of a method for the production of a porous cross-linked polymer which can freely control the upper and lower surface behavior of the porous cross-linked polymer, the width and the thickness of the polymer and can perform continuously a process ranting from a step of supplying the emulsion through a step of polymerizing it. The object of this invention, in the production of a porous cross-linked polymer by polymerizing a water-in-oil type high internal phase emulsion, is accomplished by a method for the production of a porous cross-linked polymer characterized by performing continuously a process ranting from a step of supplying the emulsion through a step of polymerizing it while having the outer surface part of the emulsion retain an atmosphere or a state having a lower oxygen content than the ambient air.

摘要: A system for diagnosing evaporation control system failures repeatedly introduces pressure, positive or negative, into the evaporation control system and closes up it hermetically, a plurality of times (for example two times), and detects changes in internal pressure in the evaporation control system. An average value of the internal pressure changes is compared to a threshold value so as to judge whether there is leakage of fuel vapors of the evaporation control system. When a difference between the internal pressure change is greater than a specified value, the evaporation control system failure diagnosis is interrupted.
