摘要： An air flow sensor unit for an internal combustion engine control system which detects an air flow rate and outputs an optical signal corresponding to the detected air flow rate to an external equipment including a bridge circuit including a temperature sensitive resistor which detects the air flow rate and outputs a first electrical signal indicative of a voltage amplitude corresponding to the detected air flow rate; a first converting circuit which converts the first electrical signal outputted from the bridge circuit into a second electrical signal indicative of a digital value corresponding to the voltage amplitude of the first electrical signal; a second converting circuit including a laser diode, for converting the second electrical signal outputted from the first converting circuit into the optical signal having the same digital value as that of the second electrical signal; a housing for accommodating the bridge circuit, first converting circuit and second converting circuit; and an apparatus of a lens and optical fiber cable secured integrally to the housing for transmitting the optical signal outputted from the second converting circuit to an external equipment.

摘要： There is disclosed a testing device for a voltage regulator incorporated in a generator assembly for controlling the output voltage of the generator assembly to a predetermined value, the generator assembly including an AC generator having a field coil and an armature coil, and a rectifier for rectifying the output of the AC generator. The testing device comprises a DC power source, a variable voltage generator for supplying a variable voltage to the input of the voltage regulator, and a resistor connected between the DC power source and the field coil, whereby presence or absence of failures of the voltage regulator may be judged from a magnitude of the input variable voltage and a change in voltage at a junction between the field coil and the resistor, as the input voltage is gradually increased.

摘要： In cases of subjecting an electric motor operated vehicle to electric braking, regenerative braking is performed during the first stage of the braking operation thereby supplying the armature current to the battery as a load, and a plugging operation is performed during the last stage thereof to complete the braking operation, whereby the efficiency of operation is enhanced by conserving the armature current to extend the traveling distance of the vehicle per charge of the vehicle battery, and the generation of excessive heat in the motor is suppressed.

A peak value of induced electromotive force of the synchronous motor at a maximum allowable rotating speed is set to a value which is lower than an allowable voltage of the smoothing capacitor of the inverter and lower than a maximum allowable voltage of the power switching elements composing the inverter. The synchronous motor is thus constructed so that a peak value V0max of the maximum induced electromotive force at the maximum allowable rotating speed N2 of the synchronous motor satisfies a relation of V0max≦VCmax where VCmax is an allowable voltage of the smoothing capacitor.

摘要： A device for detecting a load torque using angle detectors fitted with a certain spacing on a shaft which is rotated by a drive source and on the basis of a relative angular difference of angles detected by the angle detectors. The device includes two rotary drums or discs fitted with a certain spacing on the drive side and load side of the shaft, with a plurality of magnetic poles for generating magnetic signals being formed on the surface thereof, and a magnetic sensor disposed to confront the surface of the rotary drums or discs, with magnetic resistance effect elements which vary in internal resistance in response to the magnetism of the magnetic poles being provided thereon. The amount of torsion created by the load on the load side of the rotary shaft is measured as a phase difference of outputs of the magnetic sensor, and the torque is detected in terms of the angular difference between the magnetic drums or discs. The device is operative to detect a torque in both storage and rotation, and capable of detection within a period of magnetic signal, whereby high-accuracy, high-resolution torque detection is made possible.
