Abstract:
A method of aligning a portion of textile fabric, whereby at least two movable gripping elements of a display device are brought alongside one another into contact with and fastened to a front edge of the portion of fabric and the gripping elements are moved substantially parallel to the surface of a display surface until the portion of fabric is laid out with one side flat on the display surface. In this case, the feed rate of the independently controllable gripping elements (2a, 2b) is so selected that the alignment of the portion of fabric (4) is variable by a feed difference (d, v) between the gripping elements (2a, 2b).
Abstract:
An arrangement for examining a textile material section is provided, more particularly of toweling goods, by visual inspection by an examiner. In this respect, the examining arrangement has a laying area arranged in the field of vision of the examiner, in which the material section can be positioned so that it is laid flat for examination of the first side of the material section. In addition, the examining arrangement includes a turning device (2, 3), by which the material section (4), starting from the position for examining the first side (8) of the material section (4), can be reversed in such a manner that the material section (4) can be positioned so that it is laid flat in the laying area (6) for examination of the second side (10) of the material section (4).
Abstract:
A landing process and arrangement for payloads from aerospace missions with a steerable gliding body deployable at high altitudes for accurately returning the payload to the earth surface wherein delicate and stressable elements of the payload are to be recovered. The gliding body is filled with a light gas during its deployment, and the aerostatic lift must be lower than the weight of the landing unit. The payload is divided into a body with delicate elements and a body with stressable elements, wherein the body with the stressable elements is suspended on a pulling element at a spaced location under the other body. After the lower body has come into contact with the ground, the upper body is maintained suspended aerostatically.
Abstract:
A device for aligning material webs which in a longitudinal direction have alternating regions of differing thickness, has a top and a bottom aligning rail, which are disposed substantially at right angles to the material web and opposite one another with slight clearance. The top aligning rail has a row of aligning elements which are disposed in a longitudinal direction of the aligning rail. They are supported so as to be movable substantially at right angles to the plane of the material web and may be brought to rest on the bottom aligning rail with the material web for alignment lying in between. The aligning elements are supported in a substantially freely movable manner in the top aligning rail such that they may be brought under the action of gravity to rest on the material web. The aligning elements after being brought to rest on the material web are releasably fixable in the top aligning rail.
